The JENOLITE Stop Leak Sealer Spray is a great solution if you have irritating leaks in your gutters, roofs or other surfaces. Honestly, I was sceptical. We have had a 15mm Perspex joined roof leaky on and off for the last two years and I just did not want to replace it with so much other DIY going on.All my other fixes, tape, sealant, more edging, larger flashing, worked for a while, but started leaking again within three to four months. Then I used this spray over a year ago and it has not leaked since. I was so impressed that I even bought some to help my mother-in-law with a similar issue.You MUST properly prepare the area—I mean really prepare it. I learnt this the hard way. The first time, I just wiped it down and sprayed it and within four weeks, it started peeling and looked like fish scales! If you take an extra 20 minutes to ensure that the surface is clean and completely free of oil and dirt, this stuff works.The spray dries quickly. Just shake it up and apply in small, thin layers; do not try to empty the can in five minutes. Let each coat dry properly. Unlike some other sealers, it creates a semi-flexible, watertight seal that will not crack over time. However, I am not sure how well it would perform in areas with a higher movement.I have used this on metal, concrete and plastic. A week after application, we had significant rain—no leaks, no peeling… nothing. It is also UV-resistant, so I am not worried about it breaking down in the sun. When I inspected the area about 12 months later, while doing other work, it was still in good shape. I suspect this is because the spray seeps deeper into the gaps compared to tape and general sealant.This is a solid leak fix. I originally thought it would be just a small-scale temporary solution, but it has lasted more than 12 months and gave me time to focus on other house projects. It saves money on repairs, is durable and is easy to use. If you have leaks, grab a can and try it; you might save yourself hours of frustration!

Used to seal a leak from pipe coming thro conservatory roof sealed it whilst still dripping because rain never stopped long enough to dry out. Tube said it could be used under water not sure about that but after several applications it has appeared to stop the leak but not had any serious rain since so withholding my final judgment on if it has worked or not.

I found this an excellent product to seal guttering with minor leaks.It will probably not seal gaping spaces .Don't judge it on that.Make sure you clean the guttering joint well. Try not to disturb the joint if it isn't broken. Remove all the dirt with a brush. Blow any dust or residue out with a hair drier ( we used the dogs hair blaster )Shake the tin VIGOROUSLY before each application.You can mask the surrounding wall or flash board with paper or cardboard.Then spray a few strokes at a time and let it settle for a few minutes.The first application is the most important as the sealant will run into any opening that is causing the leak. Second and subsequent applications will build up a wall.They recommend 2 or 3 coats but i used 5 or 6 and went back the following day for a couple more.To prevent the nozzle blocking.Turn the tin upside down and press the spray until the sealant stops flowing. This will only be 5 seconds or so to achieve a clean nozzle.If you don't do it correctly, then the nozzle blocks. YOUR error.This stuff is very good for smaller leaks where the guttering is still in one piece. If it has been destroyed ......... get a new gutter.Follow the instructions and it WILL work.

I bought 2 tines of this stuff, wish I hadn't bought any. It doesn't work, horrid nauseating smell, stinks, waste of money, will not be buying this product again. Not fit for purpose. It made the holes worse and caused a bigger leak. Don't waste your money by ordering this. Utter rubbish.

Didn’t work quite as well as I hoped but this was on a leaking stopcock that I couldn’t isolate so a challenge for any product. It did reduce leakage though on a mains pressure system.Products like this are probably better on temporary repairs/guttering systems.

Had a leak on my Range Rover by the windshield, dripping into footwell. Dealer said I need a new windscreen to fix leak. They have replaced 5 windshield now and the leak is still there. Spraying this item inside my roofbar trims the spray liquid seeped into a crack of the bodywork skin that nobody could see, within 10 minutes car was all sealed. Took car through car wash to test and now my car is dry and zero leaks. Bloody fantastic item. This item is a must if you can’t finger the leak as it finds it itself.
