Changing the filters to new ones help the suction and pickup when I was vacuuming.

These seems the exact same as my 11 yr old original ones. As long as they don’t clog or break down in a year I would have no prob replacing them every year at this price. Since my DC28 shows no signs of slowing down.

I have a DC28 and dummy me cleaned my filter then put it by my furnace to dry...dont ever do that as it shrinks the plastic or maybe the rubber gasket idk but either way my vacuum was making an high pitched whistling sound..took me a day to realize what i did but i ended up ordering this (cant beat the price as i attempted to order that hard plastic one from Dyson for $40+) it fits perfectly and no whistling from ny vacuum if i notice anything else i will update my review!

I first thought it would be "Dyson" filters, since it's listed as "Dyson DC27 & DC28 Filters" on Amazon. Plus, it has the same "faucet" watermark-thingy on the squishy filter. When I got it, immediately noticed the thicker/harder filter fits a little differently than the original Dyson filter. However, both filters work just fine in our Dyson DC27. Mainly wanted to get this extra pair so that when we're rinsing/drying one pair, we still have a pair for the vacuum & don't have to forsake vacuum-use during the rinsing/drying period. All happy here! :)

Exact fit and the vacuum works as good as it did when it was brand new! Very happy!

These were advertised as Dyson products, they aren’t! Saying that the vac works better than it has done in a while . So very happy
