It does add some spring movement hopefully adding to the pressure applied by the vacuum. No problem at all installing it, screws right on and snugs up without hassle

The little hose on the bottom of my upright Dyson cracked. This was astonishingly easy to change and put the Dyson back in business! Excellent!

I got my old Dyson when my wife got a new one. I use it in the garage and I don’t treat it kindly. I have fixed it a few times and this time I thought it had run out of suction. I was wrong this pipe had disintegrated and with a new one it’s like new.

The hose slipped off couple times after installation. I guess after the curves set in it it stayed on. The vacuum cleaner itself is another matter. What a piece of crap made of thin brittle plastic. I've waisted my money on this hose as the vacuum cleaner fell over again and more parts broke off. The power switch just broke off and the end of the pickup/handle broke off where the hose plugs in. I've been taping, and glueing this vacuum cleaner together for years. Might be time for my recycling process...

Replaced hose for my Dyson DC07- fits perfectly! Easy and inexpensive fix!

New hose worked fine and was a snap to install. The fitting end with the connector appeared to 'snap' into place the way i expected it should. NOTE: This was my second attempt at replacing the internal hose. Like some other reviewers, I purchased a different version of this hose (oddly from the same supplier) but it had "aftermarket" in the description. That hose was way too stiff and even after trying hairdryer, hot water, etc. to soften the plastic so the hose would stay in place once it was installed - it just wouldn't work. The head of the vacuum would not sit flush tot he carpet. It did not form a good seal on the connector end, etc. After reading reviews, I decided to roll the dice again and to my amazement, the second hose (from the same supplier) was clearly made of different materials, was much softer and pliable and worked perfectly. Just a drag that it took two tries.

Fits like the original, working great.
