Exactly what I needed
The immersion heater worked flawlessly. I used the small heater to prevent my wet saw from freezing when cutting tile in below freezing temperatures. The small heater kept the water in the saw warm enough to work all day, while drawing low enough wattage to allow the saw and heater to run on the same outlet without issue.

Zero Stars-- WorkedOnce then died
I purchased this for travel, specifically an upcoming trip to Las Vegas where the fancy hotel doesn't have coffee makers in the room. Well, I tested it out at home and it worked ok once. Tried it again the next day and it did nothing. Didn't heat up at all. It's not my electrical outlet the fuse wasn't tripped. So it just must have been a dud. But of course this is after the return window had closed so I am SOL. I hesitate to buy another one because I am afraid the exact thing will happen again. Maybe I will just have to drink overpriced Las Vegas hotel coffee....

Great product, but you need to be careful
This cup heater does a great job. We use it when we vacation and the hotel does not have a coffee maker or when we want tea. It works great, but if it is plugged in without being in water, it will overheat and break almost immediately. Make sure you plug it in after it is in the water and unplug it before it is removed from the water. Just to be sure I leave it in the water for about 10 seconds after it is unplugged.

Great to heat up coffee
Really cool I found this cause it works great to just heat up your coffee, or whatever, real quick with no fuss, no muss. I also have one that plugs into my cigarette lighter but it causes issues with the electrical system in my truck. So I prefer one that I can just plug into my inverter

Perfect when you don't have a stove handy.
I use this a work. It heats the water so fast. Can use to heat water for soup bouillon, instant coffee, instant mash potatoes, and so many other things.I totally recommend.
