Excellent product if received unused
These stockings worked perfectly for me and my surgical boot, but it was a disappointment to find one sock clearly worn, stained, and unwashed in the package. (There seems to be minimal, if any, examination of returned merchandise before shipping it out to someone else.)But back to the stockings: They are very stretchy and fit like a glove even though there is no defined heel. They also stay in place and don't tighten against the end of my toe. When I take the boot off at the end of the day, the stocking is exactly where it started. I don't know if they would be this good for all sizes (I am a wm 10) but they are perfect for me.

Soft
Soft padding around feet. Expands easily to get injured foot in. Stays up well. Very comfortable under walking boot.

Serve the purpose
I would recommend these sock liners but want to share some information. My shoe size is 10, and the socks fit my feet, and there is some stretch to them. I have very small calves, and again the socks work for me, but if you have a large leg, buy a bigger sock. I have put the socks in the dryer, and they did shrink but still work for me. I've included pictures of a new sock and one that's been in the dryer. Line dry if you're concerned about shrinkage. Finally, I bought two sets of these socks (8 socks total) so that I can have a fresh sock morning and night. Your feet are going to sweat (and smell) in the boot, so change your socks often.

Not thick enough or long enough for me
These did not work well for me. They are pretty thin and have almost a netting on the top half, presumably to aid with ventilation. However, the fabric is much too thin there and does not protect against pressure from the walking cast. I am 5’4”, and they end below the knee but my personal preference would be for them to go over the knee so there is less chance of the sock slipping into the boot. If you are a tall person these will likely be too short.

Fractured my foot must where boot, bought theses socks to go under ace bandage which is rough on my sensitive skin.

Great, breathable
Bought these for my son who wears a size 5/6 in youth (10 year old) and they fit well to the knee and he is average height. They are much like a tube sock or compression sock but in a nylon-y type fabric w extra stretch. He says they are comfortable and breathable
