In the new world of electronic products we live in, physical information is somehow forced to become digital, because in digital mode it is easier to carry and much easier to share with people anywhere in the world and soon outside our planet.In the old days it was already relatively easy to scan documents and send to someone, now it's a few levels easier than before.This 13 MP USB Document Camera is one of these tools that allows you to delete our old machines for scanning documents.This USB Document Camera is a high definition camera that contains some extra buttons that help in the scanning process.It is possible to rotate, illuminate, zoom in and zoom out directly from the camera, you can certainly do much more inside the computer.This USB Document Camera will work best if it's accompanied by a good application, if you don't, you can still make use of the PC App to scan document.On your PC this USB Document Camera will be seen only as a simple camera, this implies that you can use it to do whatever you want with it.You can make videos, video calling, video conferencing, live streaming and much more.As I said you can do everything you can do with the PC camera and more, you can do more because this new camera is on the tip of a flexible arm that can be positioned in a variety of positions and angles.Although flexible and has a moveable base, in my opinion this is practically a fixed camera, meaning that for the greatest comfort, this camera should preferably be used in a fixed place such as on the office or work table.Although 100% possible I think its size is not the most suitable for traveling constantly.Very good camera in my opinion, it can easily identify and cut documents with good image quality.

Could not get it to work consistently on Zoom.Sometimes the zoom button did not change size of image.

I use this 13Mp USB document camera to record and livestream educational videos.The camera arrived securely packed and required the base to be attached. The set up was easy, just plug and play.I use it with Zoom, Panopto, Teams and all these have no issues with recognising it and in Panopto I use it as a secondary video source.The quality of the video is very good, the built-in light helps when the light is not perfect, but I use it all the time for the continuous and steady lighting.Zoom feature is also useful, although it is a digital zoom and reduces the quality, but in some situations 2x, 3x, or occasionally 4x zoom works very well for my needs.It can be also used as a regular webcam.As a hobby my partner records some unpacking style videos. This camera works perfectly for this. It is easy to adjust and frame exactly what is needed.We find this camera very useful and easy to use.Definitely made a big improvement in videos we make and made it easier and quicker to set up and frame everything.The only improvement I would make is to make the base heavier, so it could be used with lower angle.I know it is a bit pricey, but since most of learning moved online the prices on all similar cameras have shoot up. This one is of a good quality and specs, so I think it is worth the money and I would recommend it to people who know how to use cameras like this (we call them visualisers) and know which software to use it with.

This is an incredibly underwhelming product for the whopping price tag of £199. It’s camera quality could be compared to that of a £20 webcam and it would literally do the same job, if not better. I’m unsure what you’re actually spending so much money on, everything about this product is poor. The packaging is basic and bland. The tripod stand and base is slightly unstable and often swings about when a little pressure is applied (this is even when it is completely tightened).The camera quality is not 4K resolution so I’m very confused to why this is advertised. I does get the job done and displays a document underneath on a PC / interactive whiteboard, however this shouldn’t be the only reason to pay £200 when there are better alternatively out there for a fraction of the price.1 star.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)
