Kitchen counters can be so cluttered and messy. I wanted cannisters that were quietly attractive but not conspicuous. These are perfect in this respect. I do wish they were larger though. I just ordered a second set to accommodate my large flour, sugar and coffee packages.

I almost didn't buy them because of the reviews staying that they were really more gray than blue. I decided to give it a go and order them and take a chance. They ARE the lovely blue as shown on Amazon. I am not sure I would call it navy as they are a bit lighter/brighter than actual navy, but they are as shown. I wish they were heavier weight, but it does state 18 gauge which I know is not heavy. A couple of the lids could for sure seal tighter. In the pics he placemat is navy and the dish towel is lighter blue. It is the light reflection that makes them look different colors in my pics. They are exactly the color I wanted.

These are the perfect size. The rubber seal is nice and keeps items fresh. If you like red in your kitchen and don't want glass canisters, these are it!

A little lighter than expected. Was expecting a brighter blue than in the picture.
