Mini Super Dri Aid

NOT for BTE hearing aids
It's possible I simply missed this in the blurb, but this model is really too small for BTE hearing aids. It's also far more awkward to maintain compared to their next-larger version, because the drying beads are loose, small, round and not in any kind of packet or container. The next-size-up version has them in a small metal container you can dry in the oven; these beads can be microwaved, but they are ... well, small and loose.

Doesn't work - the pellets don't turn blue
The instructions state that the pellets may not be all blue when receiving the product, so you should put them in a pyrex dish in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 30 minutes. If they're not all blue by then, put them back in at 10 minute intervals. Picture 1 is how they looked when I received the product. Picture 2 is after 30 minutes in the oven. Do you see a difference? Neither do I. I would have put them in for 10 minutes more but my wife was waiting for the oven to fix dinner, so I gave up for now (I'm hungry). I'll try again after dinner, but I'm not optimistic. I'll update this review after I try again. If that doesn't work, I'm sending it back.

Once used this to save my smart phone!
Seems to work like a charm. I've yet to experience any issue with my hearing aid. And I've only had to replace the dri aid about once every year or two.Once I had the misfortune of dropping my phone in water. So I quickly sealed my phone into a Ziploc with the dri aid. Sure enough, the water was extracted and the phone survived. So now I keep the older jars of dri aid, just in case I need them for an emergency.

I wouldn't bother buying this one
My audiologist recommended a drink product for my hearing aids so I bought this . I have to put the pellets in the microwave like every other day to activate the blue pellets. I won't be purchasing another one.

I traveled to Europe for the first time and didn't want the hassle of any electric devices so I ordered the Mini Super Dri Aid
Years ago, I used the full-size Dri Aid jar for my hearing aids. But I dropped it when I was going to recharge the beads, and of course, it smashed. So for the last few years I've been using an electric hearing aid dryer. But this spring, I traveled to Europe for the first time and didn't want the hassle of any electric devices so I ordered the Mini Super Dri Aid. It was just the perfect size to put in my carryon and worked perfectly. From now on, it's the only thing I'll use for my hearing aids when I'm traveling overnight.
