Good quality
You hope for one thing with board books - that can stand up to being put in the child's mouth. This one is holding its own so far.The story is cute too!

A Great Book for a First Birthday To Go With a Red Wagon!
I got this for a first birthday along with a Red Ryder Push and Pull Walker Wagon. They are a perfect gift combination!

Cute Story
I got this book from the library and had to purchase it off of amazon to replace the library's copy. I had the book in reach of my little one and he just loves books! I didn't realize he also liked chewing on them and ruined the cover. This is a great story that tells a story behind the story. For children 2+ it is good for reinforcing inference. For younger children it is a beautifully illustrated story to read to spend quality time with your little.

Adorable Illustrations
This book follows Lucy as her mother gives her a little red wagon...and a chore to get vegetables from the market with it before she can play with it. Lucy's imagination takes hold along her trip, turning the wagon into a truck, a covered wagon, a boat and more. This book is a cute story with gorgeous illustrations. Unfortunately (or fortunately if you like to encourage discussion on each page) the words on each page simply tell the story of Lucy taking her wagon to market but do not reference what vehicle her wagon has transformed into.Ultimately I enjoyed the book and believe, based on the amount of words on the page (appr. 1 short sentence) and need to discuss the illustrations, that it would be best for typical 1.5-2+ years old.

Great book for a child who loves wagons.
This book, along with the wagon, were gifts to our neighbors' two-year-old boy who loves wagons and was very excited about the wagon and the story about a wagon.

A dear little book for wagon lovers!
This is such an adorable and imaginative book with amazing illustrations. And yes, it would make an awesome add-on with a gift wagon. If you or your child are into wagons, just buy it! The age range given in the product descriptions is correct, 3-5 yrs, actually it could very well be stretched to 6 yrs also.PS- This review is for the hard cover version. The board book would not do justice to the illustrations, so I would strongly recommend introducing this at 3-5 yrs of age with the hard cover version or, if available in future a paper back version which would be cheaper.

Great book!
The story is very simple, but the illustrations are what really make this a great little book. Encourages kids to use their imaginations even in mundane and everyday type situations.
