Axe Messy Look Matte Gel for Men - 6 oz

For at least a good seven years this was my go-to hair gel throughout the end. I like to have my hair be slightly messy while maintaining the overall shape. It only took a small amount of gel and a little bit of hair spray to keep my hair exactly how I wanted it. All of a sudden they took it off the market. I don't know why… The price was perfect (they could've charged more tbh and I would still buy it. Hold - 4.5 stars As I said it needed a little hair spray, but it's made for a “messy look” so the hold isn't gonna be perfect Texture - 5 Once you fully work the product in, you can hardly tell it's in it feels most natural. you can hardly tell it's in the feels most natural. it doesn't leave your hair, shiny like other products do and it's easy to get out. Quality - 5 I don't know what's say about quality as the bottle is just fine and the gel smells fine has little to no scent and looks good in your hair. Easy to apply. Value for Money - 6/5 if I remember correctly, it only costs around $8 to $16, and as the rest of the review says it works perfectly. and as the rest of the review says it works perfectly A tough dozer for sure, solely because you do not enjoy Axe sprays (I know I tend to not care for them) this hair gel is unprecedented in the industry. I have yet to find a replacement gel for this as most brands that are “medium hold/flexible hold and low-shine” feel like glue and take all day to get it to set right. If Axe reads this please bring this product back even if you have to raise the price I will happily continue to buy this gel because so perfect.

Easy to work with, nearly zero shine, last a while. Will not hold 100% up all day at least while outside. I usually only use this work days & i work outside so. I enjoy using it & most likely buy again.

Good stuff. Not too sticky, holds well but you can just wet your hands and primp if needed. Not at all shiny. Use it sparingly and it doesn't even look like there's product in your hair.

Been using this for years. I actually use it for hold and not for a messy look. I have a clean look with it. The hold is great and works wonders on cowlicks! I am stocked up with this as well. About 20 bottles of it under my sink.

So I'll start this by saying I let my teenager grow out his hair and then I let him get a perm and he's blond naturally so we were dealing with some frizzy. I didn't like the poodle look and I told him the mullet was going to have to go unless he use some product to tame the fuzz. I got this for him he uses a little bit and it does what it needs to do without it looking like he's using product if you know what I'm saying. 17 year olds are picky and this works he's happy and moms happy. Win win !
