I like the thickness of these blocks for my projects. They are very easy to put together in multiple configurations. The pins stay out during the entire drying process and come out without leaving holes. The storage box is quite handy also.

Received my mats in record time. One problem, the T-pins were not included as advertised! Notified seller and they promptly replied and sent them to me. Thank you. Great product, have used the mats twice now and works like a charm. Thinking I may order more for a bigger project and if I do will order from this seller.

Previously I had been using thick towels and sewing pins to block my projects, and decided it was time to upgrade to something nicer.As soon as I received these blocking mats, I pulled them from the box and began to block up a lace scarf I had just finished knitting. I love how thick they are, and I don't have to worry about the project shifting like I did when I was blocking on towels. There were, however, a few cons that prevent me from giving this product 5 stars.The first I noticed was that the color was not as advertised. The photo shows a light, desaturated blue with dark, detailed grid printing. Mine are a very dark, bright blue and the printing for the grid varies in both darkness and sharpness (it sometimes is a bit smudgy) throughout the mats. As for the grid alignment, they don't actually "line up in ANY orientation" as advertised. They will only line up once you rotate to ONE specific orientation, meaning I had to rotate each piece I pulled from the box several times to make sure the grids lined up.The third issue I had was that, while blocking my scarf, I realized I would need all 9 mats from the box instead of the 8 I'd estimated. When I pulled the final mat from the box, there was a hole punched into the mat right where I needed to put a pin. I had to stretch my project slightly beyond the hole to avoid it. When I made the seller aware of the issue and asked if there was a way to receive a replacement for the single damaged mat, they offered to send a full replacement kit (I have yet to hear back, though, so we'll see if that actually happens or not).This does sound like a lot of cons to warrant 4 out of 5 stars, but honestly, the mats are still such an upgrade from using towels that these cons are all things I can learn to work around in exchange for the convenience.

My favorite blocking mats. Thick. Well made and my favorite color, blue. I like them so much, I just left them on my table for everyday use. Very nice and handy.

I read many reviews and there were many that were good . I was thinking that the bad ones were just difficult people, you know the kind . Well sadly I was wrong , the lines don't line up and it's not just by a little and even worse yet two of the matts had deformed corners.I was thinking about ordering another after I placed my order because I was starting a project that would need a larger blocking space but after reviewing the first order and being so disappointed with the quality I am glad I did not. In short I would not recommend to anyone and I would not buy them again. I won't return them to much of a hassle especially this time of year.

The Humble Crafter Blocking Mats are better than expected. This is my first time using mats to block my projects. I'm excited to be using them. They are very sturdy and the marked lines are just what I needed to get a perfect shape for my knitted afghan squares. Thank you for making this great product that now makes it easier to block and shape.

The be mats are great.But the pins are totally worthless. They were bent and many were Tangled together and broke when I tried to take them apart

The mats are nice and thick, and fit together so perfectly. The lines match up virtually in every direction, even when I mix around the boards. I love the pins that came with the set--no rusting or tarnishing and they're sharp.
