Its just what I wanted, but it really didn't seem to be 1" thick. It mushes together so much its hard to actually tell it is an 1" thick. Nonetheless it did the job and I'm happy with the purchase.

This was exactly what I needed for my 1955 Lenox Furnace. Until I checked Amazon I was not sure how I was ever going to find the exact filter for a furnace that works great but is so obsolete! The price was great and I received it before it's ETA and just in time. I was able to prep my furnace just a few days before the first cold snap. Perfect!
We have an older air handling system that i'd been having a hard time finding replacement filter cloth for. This was perfect as i was able to cut it to the exact size for the grate that it needed to fit in. Material looks to be high quality and does the trick!
