this product is one of the safest ways to protect your engine against the high heat that is generated while in stop and go traffic anyplace, this product deflects the heat surrounding intake going into your engine and all that know how important it is to keep your engine running as cool as possible in the insane amount of heat that each day is generating almost to the point of being out of control. i recommend design engineering 010392 reflect-a-gold high temperature heat reflective adhesive backing sheet it just might save you in the long run.

This stuff is expensive, but it has done an exceptional job keeping brake lines from boiling over while sat next to a turbocharger.

Good product. A little difficult to place on curved surfaces but it looks and performs great. A shame it's a bit costly

It didn't come in the companies packaging. It came rolled up in a box. No instructions or spec sheet or anything like that. It looked like it was cut from a bigger sheet or a roll. As for the product itself, It's amazing!! Easy to work with,conforms to odd shapes,the backing is easy to trace patterns of different shapes on. It sticks well and if you make a mistake it easily peels up so you can try again. And talk about bling!I put it to the test. I have an A/C drain tube that sits dangerously close to my aftermarket exhaust. It's very important that this tube is not melted and I can't relocate it. I wrapped this tube with Reflect-A-GOLD and installed my exhaust to find that it actually touches the tube I don't want to melt! I took a temp reading on the exhaust pipe. It was 460deg. I measured the temp of the tube I was trying to protect at an incredible 147deg!!! That won't melt anything but ice cream!!! I would have to say this stuff WORKS!!! Lost 1 star for the weird packaging not the product.
