The alarm didn’t sound until after she wet the bed. How do we fix it to where it goes off while she is peeing?

You have to make sure the sensor is where she will pee. I always test with a damp towel or wipe to make sure it works. Also make sure it's on the the same channel.

The product description says you can buy a second receiver for the parents room. Is it possible to buy just the receiver? I don’t see that listed here

Will this work for bowl movement?

I do not think so, the sensor detect moisture on the underwater.
