Nice looking.. but NOT sturdy boots.
Ive had these boots for 5 months. 2 positiive things are--The soles are heavy duty. The leather is not high grade. Now the bad news--The stitching around the boots had started to unstitch itself within the 1st 2 months. The leather and stitching around the heel of the boots have completely come apart AND the leather has splitNot worth what I paid for them. Lesson learned. If you want rugged sturdy boots...pay the extra and buy a known brand.

Knock Offs.
The boots I received were not Adtec, but Ridetec.I don't even think these things are made of leather. Ive had my real Adtec boot for five years, and love them. These are absolutely not those. The materials are cheap, and the leather feels like its almost plastic. The paper they were wrapped in was greasy from the boots being in there. Returning these ASAP. I feel really bad for the people who kept these boots thinking they were worth $100. Im attaching my five year old boots for side by side reference. You can tell that mine are leather, and these ones are greasy cheap material.

RideTec, not AdTec, and a bit small
TL;DR - You're getting knockoff RideTec, not the advertised AdTrc, and the seller is ust pushing cheap knockoffs on you that will hurt your legs and feet. The sizing runs about a siz and a half sall, and they're not well made to last. Don't waste your money, get a verified brand. As of this posting the advert seems to have been changed, almost a year later, to reflect the RideTec that's beijg sold.If the seller is reading this, you're despicable thieves.-----------------------Looked at the reviews and properly read the page, so I was well prepared when a pair of flame-bottom RideTecs showed up, and not the listed AdTec clover bottom. Read the page at all and you'll quickly realize the listing is for the RideTec boots, and the listing and images are incorrect. All things said though, they still look quite nice. I wear a 10.5W, so I ordered a size up. The 11.5W is still a bit snug on the sides of my feet, but my heel is comfortable and my toes have plenty of room. The belts both look and work great, and the overall construction of the boots does seem good. They had obviously been oiled, but they weren't overly greasy and the packaging was still quite clean.I work on a ranch, so these will really be put to the test! I'll update this after a few months of owning them -- hopefully not sooner. The seller or Amazon should really change the listing to RideTec though. Much less misleading.Update -- I've barely worn these boots. They did not break in well, and chafe my thighs horribly, even through tall spcks, which they make ride down and expose my leg to more chafing.Overall verybdispleased with this purchase, but it's far too late to get a refund. Don't buy from this seller, they're super doshonest.

Over The moon
Woman rider that is tired of women's boots being made of lighter material and/or not real leather that can withstand the act of really riding your own bike. Some of us ride our own and need boots that will stand up to all the rigors of that (I ride a 2000 Gilroy Chief, big heavy v-twin) So I (punk grrl that I am) decided to go old school, Engineer Boots, of to the hunt... and again, women's were wimpy, as if we need something more delicate (WTF). Kept looking Found these and a size converter chart and ordered the boots. I am so damn happy I did. Great price Incredible value, Thick leather, cool old school look. Fit awesome, think you should remove sex oriented listing... These are great for ANYONE who want a cool, sturdy, real heavy gauge leather boot. List for all REAL riders :)

They would have been perfect, had they fit
Since I was getting a bike I needed appropriate footwear and I saw these engineer boots. I am very skeptical about buying footwear online since it almost never fits correctly, but I gave these a shot anyway. The boots came and I was impressed at the quality of the stitching, the leather, and the sole. These are real oiled leather and the leather seems to be a couple of millimeters thick. The sole is lugged and grippy which is important for bike riding, and the stitching seemed like it not fail in a short time. These boots are stout and seem like they would put up with some abuse. My problem is that I have a 14W foot and large calves. The calves aren't an issue since when I tried to put these on, all I could do was insert my foot just to the point of my arch. I could go no further. Unbuckling the boots and opening them up did not help at all. For me, the calf portion of the boot was way too small for me to even get my foot inside. For what it's worth it seems like the foot portion of the boot was large enough.Because of the quality and value of the boots, I am giving them two stars. Had I been able to actually wear them they would have easily been a five star item. Very, very disappointed.

These boots are not adequate footwear if you plan to use them for anything other than looks.
What do you want in a boot? Depends on what you want to use them for. In my case, I needed to have mid-calf or taller black boots because I was doing a drama on stage, and the props department didn't have any boots in my size. While these boots are nice to look at, that's about it. I ordered the exact same size that I wear sneakers (size and width), but after adding in two insoles and very thick socks, I could still kick these off my feet in 2 seconds flat -- and this was with both buckles as tight as I could get them. I do not have skinny legs either, since I am an avid bicyclist I have large size calves. The tops are flappy and way too wide. A zipper and taper would seriously help. One would think that if you could stuff two insoles inside then they might have been comfortable --- unfortunately my feet hurt so much I had to take these off mid-performance. I hate returning anything, so I went ahead and donated them to the theater in case they could be of use for a fellow actor. To the manufacturer: add a zipper, taper the top, and review US sizing charts.

Exactly as advertised.
These won't be used for motorcycling (rather as part of a professional Santa costume) but as a former biker I think they would be perfect for riding. Better than what I wore in the day. They even arrive pre-treated for water-repellency (leather felt a bit oily right out of the box and left black smudges on my hands). I read in one review that they fit two sizes larger than marked. That was not my experience. I wear a 9.5 shoe and ordered a 10 boot expecting a spacious fit. They only just fit me with normal shoe socks, no room for thick socks. I wore them around the house for a couple of days to break them in but found them comfortable to wear all day long right from the off ... exactly what Santa needs.

Not as good as described, but consider these if you have a high instep
The shaft on these boots is very wide back-to-front in the size 14 wide pair I got. Even with the ankle strap fully tightened, my instep is not supported at all and my heel moves around freely, making these hard to walk in. Also, I have a foot that's on the boundary between medium and wide fit. I got size 14 wide (and tag on them says 14W) but the width is akin to my regular shoes. There's quite a bit of volume available in the boot, but I'm not sure that folks with truly wide feet will find these comfortable. On the materials front, the description in the ad says "full grain" leather but the tag on the boots states "genuine leather," which is actually a much lower grade of leather. The leather itself has no character to it at all. The sole also doesnt match included pictures as others have mentioned. The overall quality of construction seems to be good however. And if you have a high instep then these may offer a better fit than they did for me. It's just that unfortunately these aren't as good as the ad makes them sound

Me enviaron talla Mediana.
