The review you want to read!!!!!
I absolutely love this Bassinest! Super convenient and I think a must have!! BUT!! I think no need to spend your money on the luxury model . I bought the luxury model because it have the option to detached from the base so you can move it around the house... it’s impossible to move this thing, its way too heavy! Not worth the extra money in my opinion! The vibration is okay, we didn’t found it much needed, the lights are red and not helpful at all. White noise is good but not loud enough, we use a separate white noise machine. Anyhow, we barely used the buttons and the batteries died after 2 1/2 weeks.Bottom line;A must have Bassinest !!! But save your money and get the regular HALO . I wish I knew it before

So excited about these updates!
We used an older Halo Bassinest model in the past for our older daughter and loved it. I felt at peace knowing she was safe and I loved having her close. I never worried about SIDS or suffocation risks because of the flat mattress, mesh sides, and super sturdy frame. We never used any of the electronic features and didn’t really feel like we needed any of them. We also wanted to avoid creating any unnecessary sleep associations, so we didn’t really use the vibrating feature. We’re expecting our youngest in three months, and I am absolutely thrilled this newer model comes with the option to detach the stand so you can move the bassinest around the house for naps or use it while traveling. I also love that you can remove and wash the fabric in the washer! I’ll post updates as we use this newer model with our youngest but so far upon setting it up, I’m so pleased! It’s beautiful, sturdy, and well-designed. The only hiccup we had was when assembling the bassinet. One of the curved rods that supports the fabric sides was just ever so slightly bent in at the end enough to make it difficult to connect into the other piece to complete the assembly of the frame. We had to use some needle nose pliers wrapped in fabric to fix the dent without scratching the frame, and then we were able to connect the two top rails together. Not a big deal to me, but this bassinet is pricy for having this issue.Testing out the process of taking the bassinet on and off the stand was something I was curious about (as there were no prior reviews on Amazon at the time of our purchase) but it works pretty easily! The bassinet bed comes off the stand fairly easily and it’s fairly fool-proof connecting it back together. Since you can’t really look under the bassinet while your holding it to see where it should connect into the stand, they more or less designed a big funnel shape to help guide you into the right spot. It clicks when it’s locked in. It was much easier to use than I thought it would be.Now time to wait for baby to come!!

We wanted to like it but it suffered from design and quality issues
We really wanted to like this bassinet, it had everything we wanted. Unfortunately, there were too many issues with it and we had to return it.First issue I believe is from design. The swivel, where the bassinet is held up, is off-center. This means that the bassinet will inevitably tilt, which is obviously not ideal for safety reasons. I'm not really sure the swivel function is worth this tilt; there are easier ways to make a bassinet maneuverable, such as using casters/wheels. This, in my opinion, is a case of over-engineering.Second, there are quality control issues. One (minor) issue we had was the fact that the slots that accept the legs didn't quite align, but eventually I was able to insert them with some cajoling. The major and more important issue was the way the fabric connected to the base and frame. The fabric connects to the bassinet with zippers; not only were the zippers fidgety to work with, but the fabric was stretched super tight when connected. Way too tight, it felt like it was about to rip. The pressure pulling on the base from the stretched fabric caused the whole bassinet to squeak and creak to the slightest touch. This alone was enough for us to return it. I've included a picture which shows how the fabric "pulls" on the base, though admittedly it isn't easily shown. For reference, this was the Luxe. We've seen the Premier at a store and it didn't have this squeaking issue because the fabric was not attached the same way. So, this may be an issue specific to the Luxe.Third, the packaging was damaged and duct taped. The components inside were also duct taped all over. Almost looked like it's been returned before. Normally I don't care about happens to packaging in delivery, but when it's the bed where your baby is supposed to sleep, you can't help but feel suspicious. Simply not acceptable for an item of this importance to arrive in that state.

Bassinet
Easy to assemble, sturdy. As mentioned in other reviews, a bit heavy if you want to reposition often. If you want to use in multiple rooms, recommend buying the premium version so you can remove the bassinet from the stand to use in other rooms or for travel. Will only work for the first few months, which I knew going in and is what I wanted.

Not worth it
I wish I could rate it zero! When it came the box was damage and it looked like someone tape it. The item was already used because some of the plastic wrap inside was missing. If you’re looking for a sturdy bassinet this is definitely not what you want!
