Best yeast for even mildly sweet dough.

The gold label of Saf-Instant yeast is usually difficult for me to find in supermarkets, so I'm very glad to see they available through Amazon. If you bake a lot of rich, sweet breads, I would definitely recommend this brand of yeast. For all other bakes, I tend to gravitate towards Fleischmann's, but I find best results with enriched doughs when using Gold Saf-Instant.

Excellent performance when baking bread. Not always available at retail so we were pleased to see it ships out readily. Works great in our 5 bread machines and loaves rise beautifully and evenly.

I have used SAF yeast for many years to make many kinds of dough in my bread maker and it has never let me down It is much more economical than the small jars which are only good for about 12 loaves of bread. I don’t just bake bread, though! I make sweet rolls and English Muffins and I want rising consistency every time. I like making half-size loaves as gifts for friends and for new neighbors. I began buying it at the recommendation of a major mill that produces a great unbleached flour and have never been disappointed! Highly recommended!
