These make a huge difference! I did a 2 day hike and compared a day of these to a day of some Salomon hiking socks I’d purchased at the same time and the difference was night and day. Comfortable feet on a long hike is a necessity and these achieve that.

Compared to those Smartwool Socks i already own - Heavy and Medium Crew .... those are kind of thin - not what i expected....

I’ve purchased smartwool socks many times, over many years for myself and as gifts for family. Perfect product for feet that get and stay cold in the winter. Not with these! They keep feet dry and warm and thickness adds to the feeling of warmth. They don’t shrink, wear well- don’t wear out quickly and fit true to size. I’m a believer!

A bit spendy but great quality, comfort and they last long.
