Good Pack, but Not Quite What I'm Looking For
SUMMARYI purchased this pack because I am looking for a concealed carry option for when I'm wearing sweat pants or shorts without a belt. My EDC is an 9mm M&P Shield which fits easily into this pouch. However, I don't feel this is the pack I am looking for.THE GOODThe pack is of sturdy construction with secure stitching and good quality zippers. It comes with a nylon strap which gives you the option of carrying the pack either purse or shoulder bag fashion. There are belt loops on the back which are secured with good quality velcro and allow you to adjust the size to fit your belt. The main pouch is easily accessible and large enough to carry a medium sized pistol such as a Glock 19/23 or M&P Compact (or other similar sized handgun). The holster is actually a piece of stiff nylon with velcro on the back which allows you to position it anywhere inside the pouch which is lined with the fuzzy stuff that velcro grabs onto. The front of the holster piece is also velcro adjustable which allows you to fit it to your particular gun. There is ample room for an extra magazine in the main pouch, and the front of the pack has a plastic quick-release fastener, and velcro strips, which flips open and provides a place to carry several items up to about an inch thick. Finally, there is a zipped front pocket which can accommodate your ID, credit cards, cash, and similarly sized items.THE NOT-SO-GOODThe pack is fairly sizable. In fact, it's the size of a small purse. You definitely would not be wearing your shirt over it, nor will you be driving with it on your side. The zipper for the main pouch opens easily enough, but you would definitely not be drawing your weapon quickly. You would have to unzip and draw with the same hand; it simply would not be practical to reach across with your other hand to unzip while drawing with your strong hand. The biggest problem I've found with this case, is that if you pull the pistol out too quickly, you're likely to snag the back of the slide or the sights on the opening of the main pouch thus requiring you to wiggle the gun to free it completely from the case.CONCLUSIONThis is a really nice case that will work great when I am hiking, fishing, camping, or doing other similar outdoor activities. However, it certainly is not "discreet" and it really isn't a good option for generic EDC.

Not for Speed but for Concealment
Outstanding little gear bag made to be tough and discreet. I carry a double stack magazine Glock model 19 in there and it fits just fine! A smaller gun with a single stack would be even better. But, I place my firearm in the main zippered compartment in the middle using the velcro straps to secure it while still making it easy to draw out. I then place my wallet and money clip in the front pouch, keeping my finances totally separate from the firearm so there is no chance of anyone or a store clerk seeing it. Then I place my CCW permit, flat badge and retired Police Officer ID in the front zippered compartment, keeping that separate also.I sling the bag over my left shoulder (I am right handed), and I always have my firearm close to my right hand. I even drive with it on so that the bag rests between the legs in the driver's seat, making the gun easy to get to if needed. It looks like a "Men's Carry-All" and not one person has ever asked me, "What do you have in there?" If they did, I would tell them, "My medicine."Do not think that this "Off the body" concealed carry technique is a "fast draw" or anything like that. This is not for speed but for concealment. If you ascertain your threat correctly, you should have plenty of time to get your firearm in your hand. For quick draw while concealed, you better look to a body holster. But, this bag allows me to carry it off body in 110 degree weather while wearing shorts and a tank top. In the winter or being dressed up, I would use one of my many body holsters.I love this thing!

which I would like to do
I would have given it 5 stars except, I wear this on my belt and if I use the sewn belt loops, which I would like to do, it sits to high on my hip. Why not just have sewn belt loops? The "easy" on/off Velcro belt loop system is supposed to make it so you don't have to take your belt off to put the pouch on. I still have to take my belt off to put the pouch on. You can take it off by undoing the Velcro tabs, but be ready to catch it as gravity takes over quickly if your CCW is still in the pouch. It is a very well built pouch and no one gives it a second look when I'm wearing it. It is designed very well; with the exception of the belt loops. If you want to carry without being noticed, this will work very well. Remember, it is designed to conceal your weapon. It is not designed to be a quick draw system.

Fits my Glock 43 perfectly
This pack seems a little pricy but after it arrived I saw it was well made ,, the shoulder strapit come with will sure do the job but if you will have it on your shoulders for hours you might wantto purchase a wider strap.Has two vertical wide Velcro straps on the back that appears to take up to a 2inch belt , but a twoinch belt would be very tight .It didn't appear to have a spare mag holder. I laid my spare mag in next to my velcroed glock 43 and it does not seem tomove around..I bought the green version , I like itI believe you could carry this anywhere and no one would suspect there was a gun inside.Maybe not as quick a draw then a conventional holster but quick enough. My glock 43 is 6inches long , it goes into pack with about a 1/2 inch to spareI hoped this helped Go Red Sox
