I bought a reconditioned Zumo XT, looks new and works great.

When the GPS arrived, the battery was so dead that it wouldn't even turn on. That was a little concerning since most electronics come with enough battery charge to at least boot up.After I charged it for a couple hours it finally would stay on as long as I had it plugged in. When I went to unplug it, it would give a notification that it was going to turn off and did shut off almost immediately. I thought that was a defect and was thinking about sending it back, but then I realized that this is normal. There is a button on the screen that says CANCEL during this notification. When you touch that button, the GPS stays on and continues to run on internal battery.I see a lot of negative reviews about poor battery life, and not staying on when unplugged. I'd bet that some of these reviews aren't accurate and that the authors aren't hitting the cancel button to stop it from shutting down ...?I used it to navigate down to a friends house and it performed as expected. It even rerouted when I took an alternate route. I think I'm gonna like this unit. I really like saving $120 over brand new GPS.

Like the fact that it's a Garmin. Easy to update via wifi. Holds up to weather. Several different travel modes.

Maps are OK but true on/off road GPS is awesome Love the large screen very easy installation and mounting on the Trail. Makes off roading and route making fun. Would buy again.

I'm a Road Captain for a nationwide veteran's motorcycle association, and desperately needed a reliable and functional GPS. Using my cell phone just wasn't cutting it. In fact, on a ride in the Louisville area, leading 10 bikes, my wife and I were using our phones. We have identical models, bought at the same time, used the same app, and are on the same plan. At a number of intersections hers would say to turn left, and mine said turn right. Frustrating, and a bit scary. In addition, the touch screen wouldn't react if I had gloves on.The Zumo XT has solved all of my issues. It is very intuitive and easy to use, and works perfectly no matter which gloves I'm wearing. Visibility is never an issue, even in bright sunlight. The directions are always spot on, and the map is super easy to follow. Water resistance is fantastic as well. We recently got stuck in a huge downpour and had to pull over due to zero visibility and flash flooding. The Zumo got absolutely drenched, as we did, but it never skipped a beat. I love the fact that my emails and chat messages pop up. We frequently use a chase vehicle and they can notify me of any events at the back of the pack. via text. The road condition and traffic updates are a bonus. Entering a destination is super easy, as is finding gas stops, restaurants, etc.I really can't emphasize how much this unit has simplified my job, and eliminated much of my stress. I still have to worry about the safety of my riders, plan routes, gas and lunch stops, etc., but that's easily manageable. Thank you, Garmin!

Bought refurbished so far no complaints works as advertised, still working out Bluetooth between bike, phone and sena 50 comm with the XT.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Fits perfect on my KLR 650 and easy to install and easy to use. Great product.

I purchased this unit refurbished. I tried several methods to update the maps. I tried directly to the unit and using garmin Express. Both methods failed. After over 10 attempts I returned the unit. Lesson learned: don't buy refurbished electronics.

Bought this for fall hunting on my ATV, worked great up here in Northern Ontario. Used it in a could different area,s with and without any issues. Will be adding a Back Roads SD card for it next.

It came in new condition with all cables and hardware. No scratches or sign of being used. I saved some money and the product seems to work 100%.Incredibly good customer service. The GPS arrived in less than 24 hours. The seller responded promptly to a question I had as well as followed up after the delivery to insure I was satisfied.Very pleased with this purchase!!
