MonteverdeInvincia Stealth Black Fountain Pen - Broad Nib, All-Black Design, Luxury Writing Instrument

A wonderful pen. A bit on the heavy side but a nice writing experience. The nib needed a little fine tuning of the tines as the tines were slightly misaligned. Once the tines were aligned it has been writing like a dream.

Good penInk flow a problem at times

I wanted to love this pen so much. This is the sexiest fountain pen I have ever seen. Looks wise this pen is the LBD of fountain pens. So why did I give it 3 stars and not 5. The pen can be inconsistent, I feel like I have to work harder to get the same writing experience that I get from other fountain pens that are under $10 (looking at all my super awesome Jinhao fountain pens) And for me, I hate the feedback. I have tested on a dozen different type of papers and the bloody awful feedback is always present like nails on a chalkboard. For those who love feedback this will be a 5 star pen for you.I gave it 3 stars because seriously look at this supermodel of fountain pens, look at the nib straight sexy! I also gave it 3 stars because it is very forward thinking of Monteverde to make its fountain pens accept standard international converters and cartridge inks (seriously who would put an ink cartridge in this pen? That would be like putting a Victoria Secret model in a broken down jalopy)

I am by no means a writer or someone who has great penmaship. I do however appreciate a fine writing intstrument, well actually I didn't until I received this pen. The action is unbelievably smooth. I was someone who hated writing anything and would rather type it. Since getting this pen, I want to take more notes, sign more, and even start practicing calligraphy. This pen really makes writing enjoyable. This is by far the most expensive pen I've ever owned or tried, but I'd have to say it's amazing. I also like to use with the re-fillable ink well instead of the disposable cartridges. I fly for a living, and bring it with me on flights. Never once had an issue with pressurization causing bursting or leaking in pockets. Again, this pen is awesome and also very astheically pleasing as I get many compliments on it. If you're looking for a new pen to help with your writing skills or just want a fine writing instrument for a good price, go with this one. Oh and another huge plus is it's made here in the good ole USA! Hope this helps!
