For some context: I'm not new to painting and a hobbyist at best. However, due to some out of my control circumstances I lost all of my art and art supplies.I'm not a fan of kits but I have been putting off getting back into art after a devastating event where i have no art supplies. I purchased this on a whim largely because the brushes looked decent and it came with a 15 sheet pad and a few panels. I'm impressed with the quality of the paint and brushes (for the price). I think that 48 colors is a bit excessive for anyone that is actually wanting to and dedicated to learning to paint. A it's a huge disadvantage to learning basics of color theory, but it's not a bad thing if this is for a kid or anyone that just wants to pick it up every now and then.The case/easel is better suited as just a case. While it does provide a basic platform to get the job done, it is flimsy and really only good for setting on a table and sitting while you paint. Again, this is fine for anyone just looking to dabble, however if you begin to take painting seriously you will quickly find that this is not what you want.All things considered this is great for beginners and worth a purchase.

I was looking for a beginner's kit and this is just right! It has almost everything one needs to create and paint. The paint itself is good quality and there are enough colors to mix any color you're wanting.The paint, brushes, pallet knives and (either) 3 canvases or paper pad all fit perfectly inside the wood carrying case which is also a table top easel! Compact and perfect to take your hobby with you wherever you go!I added a pencil and cloth and that fit inside too!Easel adjusts so you can get the angle and height you want for smaller projects.Lightweight, sturdy, easy to assemble and convenient!Absolutely recommend!

Nice quality, very sturdy, good feel in the hand. Absolutely worth the money.

IM OKAY WITH PURCHASE. THE BRUSHES ARE GOOD. PAINTS ARE IN A SMALL TUBE (SMALL!) NOT ENOUGH ROOM TO STORE MUCH IN THE BOX BUT IT WILL STORE ALL THE PAINT AND BRUSHES. U WILL HAVE TO ADJUST EVERYTHING FROM INSIDE OF BOX FOR THE TOP TO STAY OPEN. I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY 6 YR OLD GRANDCHILD FOR US TO PAINT TOGETHER. THE PAINT SET SEEMS TO BE GOOD PAINT. WASHES OFF.

I bought this set for my daughter to paint with me. Containing everything in the box makes for an easy clean up and the mobility of carrying your supplies makes painting outside the home easy.

Not very intelligent packaging, the canvas panels punched right through the thin balsa sheeting of the box. Luckily everything else was in tact / functioning.Thought I got lucky and got an extra brush tip in the bag of brushes. Till I realized one was missing a tip.I like the concept and the fact you have everything needed to start playing all in one package. Just a hair disappointed in materials / quality
