I use this camera in the QIDI X-Max 3 it's small
The media could not be loaded. Firstly you have to use the AMCap program via USB in Windows to set the resolution or Klipper won't see the proper format. (720)After settings are saved they will show up as you set them as the default in Klipper.Secondly, don't expect miracles. This camera is good enough since the QIDI camera is not available right now.I mounted it dead center on the back of the blank plastic of the LCD panel location as shown in the photo.DO NOT MOUNT IT ON THE LCD!!If you're facing the printer there is a blank area, center right of the LCD.I had to mount the bracket ONLY with real silicone rubber. (RTV)Don't use GE or other products like it as they don't cure properly now.Use RTV from an auto supply stores or here:https://www.amazon.com/Permatex-82194-High-Torque-Silicone-Gasket/dp/B000HBGI8KThe auto focus is an absolute pain.If you want a better camera, go buy it.This one works to just monitor the print progress at startup for bed adhesion, and completion.Zoom in zoom out, that's how it looks on the monitor.I wish I could turn the auto-focus off!The 720 resolution is nothing to write home about.I have printed Nylon at 290° (and the other high settings that go with it) and the camera is still going....

Works for the most part - Grrr MS Teams
No drives need, just plug and go in Windows. The resolution is really high as will. The angle is wide enough to be a nice room monitor while it is lit. I get it work all the time, but MS Teams always chooses to make the video dark and cropped. A couple games to play and it is fine.

Using to view my 3D Printer
The media could not be loaded. Running on a raspberry pi 4 with Crowsnest this will do 1080p at around 15~27fps.I recommend using manual focus if you intend on using this close up on anything.Using this with KlipperScreen to view my 3D printer. It was plug and play with Klipper/Mainsail I just had to look at my Crowsnest log file, look at all available modes, and find the best one for me.I'd say it took a bit more work than I would have wanted but I'm happy with my purchase.

Straight to the e-waste bin
This has to be the worst camera I've owned. Originally purchased to use with a Raspberry Pi, for indoor surveillance but even with adequate lighting, it produces dark images. I thought maybe it was the Pi and tried getting it to work on my Windows computer but it was just as bad. Along with movement blurs, it would constantly go out of focus for a few seconds before snapping back. I've tried using cam software and researching how to fix these issues but I'm done. Into the trash it goes. Total waste of money.

Inaccurate description. This does not work with raspberry pi.
I bought this to use with my 3D printer and Octolapse. The first time I plugged it into my raspberry pi it started causing low voltage warnings. I replaced the power supply and tried it again. The first time it powered up I got a very grainy image. I rebooted and got a nice image. After a 3rd and multiple subsequent reboots it will not power up at all. It seems to work fine on my windows PC though.
