I bought this to try and get my cat to use a new automatic litterbox and a new scratching post. She sniffed a few times, rolled her eyes, and moved on. She is a bad kitty, from a long line of bad kitties.

Shocked that this worked but it did. She was avoiding the litter box and then she wasn’t. I do add some cat nip as well for good measure.

I was concerned about the reviews where it busted open in shipping but was relieved when the product arrived intact. Then I went to use it in the litter boxes. It didn't want to come out of the shaker side of the lid because the holes were too small so I used the other side for pouring. The lid came off and the whole can dumped into the litter box. I had to have someone bring me a large serving spoon so I could put it back into the can. When I did the second box, I held my finger on the lid so it wouldn't come off again. I will have to duct tape it on. Haven't checked yet to see if the attractant was successful but I don't think I will be having this shipped again due to the possibility of the lid coming off in shipping (or while using).We have two cats and one is put off by smells so I hope this works because it has a weird smell, sort of like oregano and pine. The other brand wants you to use in clay. The cats like that litterbox (Clean Paws). The other litterbox has lightweight clumping litter (they rarely use that one preferring my sofa instead). I tried some in there since others said this brand works on both types to use up that litter. We use unscented litter.

I switched over to a robot litter box, and for a few days my cats were absolutely terrified of it. I used this powder to attract them to it, as well as using a small amount of their old litter and it worked wondersThey immediately began using the new litter box with no problems. It may just bee, but even though it doesn't have a great smell, I feel like it also acts slightly as a deodorizer.

Helped my kitten so much with going to the litter. I didn’t notice a smell from it. It’s a great product and lasted a while.
