No Stickiness!
This tape works great for my painting needs. I wish I had bought it in a wider width but as far as it's functionality, it is great!

Great stuff @ great price
For my paint jobs 3M or Duck got nothing over this Lichamp tape formula. Easy to apply, retains its adhesion for 1 day or 7, and removes easily. I did leave the tape in some closets for 7 days during interior project--still was a breeze to remove. This has been my experience with this tape while doing priming jobs with oil based primers and also another with latex based primers; and with latex and acrylic based paints of anywhere betweeen 1 and 4 coats. Also when removing, the tape has never bonded with the paint compounds such that removal will start pulling off adjacent paint to fubar the paint line. Never a problem yet. Great value for the amount ordered. Don't change that tape formula--it's awesome.

It's OK as a tape but fails on a few tasks around the shop
I won't spend too much time reviewing the tapes 'masking' qualities. Others commented already. At $20 for 6 pack, this is a value as a masking tape. You simply get more tape for the money. That is if you're only using this to mask off things during paint jobs. However, around the shop, masking tapes have many more uses.1) Put a piece of tape on the wall to mark a location2) Tape up a box closed and label the contents on the tape.3) In a woodworking shop, tape two pieces of wood together as a quick makeshift clamp during glue ups4) Tidyi up a length of cable or rope5) Mark the end of an electrical wireIn any of these use cases, if you need to WRITE on the tape, then you have an issue. The tape is simply too dark to write on with a carpenter's pencil or even a black marker. You can write on it but you simply can't read it if you're more than a few inches away from it. Because I use the masking tape a lot more for tasks other than masking, I find myself swearing a lot when I reach for this tape because it simply doesn't seem to the job right for those tasks.Just about the only way to solve the issue is to use a white writing tool but typically that's not what we use in the shop.

Great tape
We recently did a painting project in the master bedroom. With lots of trim as well as a chair rail in the room, you need lots of blue tape. It stays put and comes off clean. What more could you ask for?

Not terrible but be aware
So here's the good:-Cheap-Sticks wellThe bad:-Smells weird-some rolls had noedge. I hand to make a small cut to start the roll-Usually came off ok, but some spots the tape just tore apart or left a residue. Had to use goof off. Best guess is that these spots got a little more sun and I left it on for a couple of days. 3M wouldn't have had that problem and other areas were fine.Overall, not terrible but I wouldn't buy it again.

Works great!
I was leery buying tape on Amazon, but it works great for a fraction of the cost of the tape at the hardware store.

WORST blue tape EVER!
This tape sticks to nothing but itself and it doesn’t even to THAT well. The paper is the thinnest I’ve ever seen, it tears too easily when trying to unroll it - Good Luck finding the end of the tape on the roll!Of course, I gave it 5 stars for “Easy-To-Remove” because you don’t have to remove it - IT JUST FALLS RIGHT OFF EVERYTHING!Utter waste of money and time
