John Deere: Drive Green - PC

It is exactly what I wanted, the graphics are good. My son plays it constantly he's 14 and loves farming.

Fun to drive all the different types of equipment. Good graphics in general. I like the variety in music too so you don't go nuts hearing the same thing over and over. The fossil search element is a nice touch. Besides a few chickens and some crows, the dynamic environment is pretty dry. I understand this is supposed to be rural but a pick-up truck or other farm equipment driving by on the road now and then would add some good country flavor. Maybe put in a few cows or sheep grazing in the fields next to the one we're working. A passing train would be cool too (first we hear it, then see it). And the game definitely needs some rainy weather and a choice of farmers/characters.

My husband and I are both farmers. We have some of the previous John Deere computer games and wanted to try this newer one. Over all, it's a great game; being able to drive all the different pieces of equipment is nice, along with doing jobs for other farmers. Ways to improve: a yield monitor in the combine would be nice, so would earning money rather than JD tokens for harvesting crops. The previous game had weather, livestock, loans, and your choice of crops. This one focuses more on the equipment and operating everything, hence the name "Drive Green." Even so, it's a great game for everyone, definitely worth purchasing.
