Fine for use as an Amateur Radio Tx switch.
Wired mine to an 8pin microphone connector which I can use during CW transmitting. Would have appreciated a maintained set of contacts, this switch being momentary. It's construction is fine for the application.

OK, deadman switch is a dead man’s hand
So I was using this on a 120 circuit. It was in line from the socket on the wall to a power supply that was going to a transformer. There was only 120 going through it and it burned up and melted. This is done professionally by somebody that knows how to solder and weld properly has dealt with electronic gadgets all his life. I double checked The connections myself as well seeing how I was gonna be holding onto it. I did one 13 inch 2 x 6. I forgot to mention this is a fractal burning machine. Everything on this machine has worked all petals that we used to use instead of this device everything is fine. We’ve gone over everything. The only damage that’s done is to this button. I was able to use it for about 10 minutes and then I took my finger off the button and it continued to go. The machine did not stop. The mechanism but I’m grateful that we installed the Killswitch on the device itself because I was able to get it off without having to run for the breaker box or anybody getting hurt. If you’re using this for anything critical, do not buy it. I’m not sure what brand it is, but I will definitely make sure I don’t buy anything from that brand again .

Talkback button
I wired this up so I can pass the talkback button around the room. It also works as a punch in button and tap delay.

works ..for a while
First look and this appears to be a nicely made setup. I wired it for use on my Ham Radio. After a few weeks, it started to stay on transmit, I thought it might be a cable problem and replaced the cable. 2 weeks later, it happened again. After playing with it for a while I found that if you slam the button on the counter it will work 2 or 3 times. I took it apart thinking it was shorted. works fine. Put it together 2-3 times and it acted up again. I will try another one from a different vendor but I don't have much hope for it. Nice housing but switch inside is junk. Save your money and time, it just in't worth it.

Great quality for the price! Great seller as well.
I used this to repair an automotive EVAP smoke machine. Actually I bought two of them to repair two identical machines. They work great and I think might be more durable then the ones made by the equipment manufacturer. The switch unscrews out of the top of a stainless steel housing (I think it's stainless, it doesn't rust and it's sort of heavy). It has two small solder points on it's base and a heavier metal bracket that you crimp onto the cord to hold everything in place. The switch does not make any clicking sound. No where on it does it say where it's made. There was a slight shipping snafu, but seller took care of it asap so they get an A+ from me.REVIEW UPDATE: Okay it's 5/30/22 and the switch no longer works in the first EVAP machine, so it didn't last as long as the original factory switch(5 years). Two months ago it started getting iffy and last week it failed, so it lasted a year and was used almost daily. It did get dropped countless times and it's in the automotive repair environment so it's life was not really an easy one. I'm going to use the second machine with the second new switch and not sure if I will buy this same switch as a replacement. I've read the other reviews and they do not give me much confidence as this one may have been a fluke. The rating is 3amp but it's a micro switch and I don't feel it can handle that kind of amperage. In my case it was connected to a controller circuit board switching in the mA range but I don't know the exact load. It was not connected directly to a solenoid.I will try to remember to give a new update as to how the second switch fairs. I have not contacted the seller but may ask if they could sell me the switch only and not the outer housing. The outer housing will pretty much last forever. It's really good quality and if I can install a heavier duty switch in this housing, that is what I will do.I have changed my rating from 5 Stars to the 3 Stars. It did help me earn a living during the time it worked.
