Sun Joe SBJ605E 14-Amp (up to 250 MPH) 3-In-1 Electric Blower/Vacuum/Mulcher, Green

This is essentially a leaf blower with a reverse setting that works like a leaf vacuum. Perfect for the price.I've got a large patio with a pool in the middle and a problematic tree that drops a ton of leaves every June. I bought this device to essentially vacuum my patio like you would a carpet. And it works. It's also got a built-in mulcher which fills the bag with mulch from whatever you vacuum up. I pick up a lot of leaves a few days a week in spring and early summer, and dump the bag around trees and bushes that could use the mulch. love it.This is not an industrial strength tool, and you're not going to vacuum a large yard or anything. But for what I use it for, and for the price (about $90) it absolutely works and saves me a lot of hassle cleaning leaves out my pool by scooping them up before they can blow into the water.

A neighbor of mine let me borrow her Black & Decker leaf vacuum. I loved it. It was very convenient. So I decided to buy my own. Everything that I found was very expensive. Then I found this little budget-friendly machine. I love it!! It was fairly simple to manage. It could pick up, mulch, and hold more than my neighbor's could. I was very impressed. I also was very impressed with how good of a blower it is. I put this thing through a serious workout on the first day, and it held up well! I am thrilled with my purchase.

I bought it a year ago after looking at all the reviews for comparable units. I was looking for a Blower/Vacuum to replace my gas unit that finally died. I was tired of gas units becoming difficult to start after a few years, even with decent maintenance of the carb. While the electric units generally don't have the same air volume capacity as the gas ones (I have 2 other models that I use for various things), this Sun Joe unit does come close. My main use is as a leaf vacuum. I live under a 'few' oaks that dump lots of leaves. The Sun Joe is generally up to the task. Not quit as good as my old gas guy, but sufficient. I can pull up lots of leaves, including wet ones, and leave the pine straw and stones behind. I did have to have Sun Joe replace the bag; the zipper went out. That is kind of flimsy. I'm worried the replacement bags will eventually fail also. But other than that, no issues or problems. I also got the gutter/eave blower attachment and that works pretty good. The blower is definitely putting out a lot of air and it makes holding and controlling the unit a challenge, but I guess that is good! It saves me from climbing the ladder 2-3 times a year to clean them out manually. Very rarely do I give all five stars. A product has to knock my socks off to get all five stars. This one is better than just alright, so I did 4 stars.

I remember having to rack the leaves as a kid... not fondly. This thing is amazing (on hard surface) - I vacuumed a 800 sqf in less than 10 minutes - I am a petite 100lbs women and had no difficulty at all. I actually had a blast. Please note that you should be very careful with any light metallic items that may be vacuumed as well as the mulcher is powerful and could get damaged. But don't under estimate the benefit of the mulcher - what would have been 2/3 bags of leaves fitted in a small trash bag after being reduced in quasi powder by the mulcher. Anyhow - I have not given an amazon review in years but owed it to this great (and cheap) machine!

Can't say enough about this blower/vacuum/mulcher; it is lightweight but a the same time powerful. I have tons of trees that all seem to drop their leaves during the months of November and December. Last year I used my shop vac but that was just too cumbersome so this year after looking at all the reviews I decided on this model. My gardener only comes every other week in the late fall so in between times the leave can be quite voluminous. I really only wanted something to blow the leaves off my deck into a pile and clear away from my front door. But hey this worked so well on that task I decided to try the vacuum/mulcher and much to my delight it really worked well; had that bag filled up in no time! It even mulched small twigs without ever clogging. This is a well engineered (thoughtful design) which is easy to assemble and change from blower to vacuum without having an engineering degree. This is so much better than my shop vac for cleaning the garage I maybe donating that and just keep my Sun Joe. Hope this helps.
