I have recently become enthralled in Hinduism as I have learned the teachings to be more aligned with my concept of God than any other religion. I was raised Christian, and after reading the Bhagavd Gita, found a true realization of the spirit within us.I own small business and just wanted an enchanting reminder that God will remove our obstacles if it suits us, and put obstacles in our way if it suits us. I wanted Ganpati (Ganesha) to be on my desk as a reminder to take all obstacles, placed orremoved, as a gift from God, and to perform all my duties in the name of God, rather than reward.This absolutely served that purpose. It blew away all my expectations. Its a beautiful, sturdy, hand painted relic, not cheap resin like other sellers, for about the same price.Very happy with this purchase. Jai Ganesha.

This is a gorgeous representation of Lord Ganesh. Perfectly sized for a small altar and gorgeous.

I was searching for a good-sized statue of Ganesh to place in my exercise/yoga room. Most of the ones I found were tiny--I bought a 2" one for my office that cost me almost the third the price of this one! And most of comparable sizes to this statue were priced at over fifty dollars or more.So, this statue is a great deal, and even more beautiful in person! The colors are vibrant, and it's actually heavy which made it seem like a more quality piece to me, not a cheap resin. The only problem was that it did arrive damaged. It WAS well-packaged--it was nestled in styrofoam and wrapped in both bubble wrap and newspaper--but still, the left arm was broken off. (See attached photos.) Luckily, it was a relatively clean break, and I was able to re-attach with glue no problem.In the end, I decided that this product was still worthy of five stars, as I truly love it, and it is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended!Edited on 1/8/16: I wanted to know that the seller, Lightahead, was very responsive to my concern that this statue arrived damaged and provided me with a partial refund.

I was looking Ganesha statue that not too expensive and found this one. It’s really very beautifully painted, not too heavy but not cheap either. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I was very impressed with the care taken in the packing of the item, it was wrapped with extreme care. The item itself is gorgeous with beautiful detail. I will most definitely buy from this seller again. 5 stars all the way!

I got one of these as a gift for a friend and when she opened it, I liked it so much I went and ordered one for myself! It's resin but unless you examine it closely or pick it up it appears to be ceramic. Great price for a figure this size and the colors are bright and vibrant. The detail on the painting is not perfect but very, very good. If you look closely you can see that in a few areas the painting is just a little blurry looking, but the overall effect is excellent. Highly recommended.

I love my little Ganesh. The photos were really quite accurate and he's just the perfect size. Large enoughto provide a feeling of substantiality but small enough that you can place him fairly easily in various locations.I've placed him directly in front of me at eye level as I sit at my computer, which is quite central in my home.I love that his little trunk is touching the mound of food in one of his left hands. I got him partly because he isa God of food and nourishment but also to remove obstacles. I am primarily Kapha dosha and if ever therewas a Kapha-like God then it's Ganesha. I really deliberated over which statue to get and I feel I made theperfect choice for me. My recommendation, however, is to decide to love whatever you receive so that thetwo of you begin your relationship well together.

Mein Ganeshi sieht sehr sehr schön aus, viel schöner als es in der Abbildung gezeigt war. Die Grösse und die Bemalung, alles genau wie gewünscht und einwandfrei und sehr ansprechend. Ich persönlich bin durchaus begeistert, da die Gestalt viel schöner war als gedacht.
