UPDATED Review: 6/27/2024After using these lights almost daily for about 10 months a year, I had an issue where some of the lights went out. It seemed to be a problem with the control adapter or lights. I contacted the maker looking for parts, and even though these were out of warranty, they send me a new kit (the connectors had all changed). I use them for lights on my Kitchenjoy indoor greenhouse. While adequate, they are on a tripod outside the greenhouse, and the wiring and constant repositioning was annoying and messy.When I ordered this set of six strips, I was looking for an interior solution. These worked out perfectly.What’s in the box?Six light strips, 16” long each.Control switch with Y connector.Full size AC adaptor.20 clips and screws.20 zip ties.2 rolls of double-sided tape.4 20” extension connections.I wanted to use the metal clips to mount the lights in the greenhouse. My issue was that requires 12 clips. Although the product is advertised having 20, mine came with 8, even though there were at least 20 screws. I contacted the manufacturer and they were a bit of a headache through email. They responded only at 2-3am (probably in China?) and kept asking for proof of my order, which I repeatedly provided. After 3 e-mail attempts it got worked out.The lights themselves are nice and bright, much brighter than my gooseneck ones, light for light. Each strip has 36 lights (18 white, 12 red, 6 blue). They switch from a 2:1 red/blue ratio (12/6 lights) to daylight (18 white lights) to full spectrum (all 36 lights). So, in total, all on it’s 216 lights.I installed four strips on the greenhouse roof, and one light underneath two of the shelves. I also put four extra clips on one shelf in case I later want to mount two lights on one shelf.Installation is pretty simple. Screw in metal clips, one screw per clip. The clips are small and screws are extremely tiny, so plan on dropping them a thousand times, even with a magnetic screwdriver.The connector cables built into each strip are just 6” on one side and 6” in the other so plan on using the extension connectors for any configuration other than lights all real close to one another.The Y connector cable coming off the switch is about 24” on each leg so that helps with flexibility for light placement.The controls and timer work well, and again these are good brightness so I actually use the dimmer sometimes.I’ve had them installed about a week and so far I love them.

Update 5/27/22:My third set has been going strong for months now. There may have been a bad batch of manufacturing or something with the first ones I received. I have had zero issues with them since. My plants love them and the timer and different settings are very handy. What’s more, the company took it upon themselves to contact me and refund me for the faulty set and even followed up with me to ensure they could refund me for my trouble, after I forgot to respond. Excellent customer service and great product now that I have a proper set. Moral of the story: I would purchase again… if you happen to have any trouble, reach out to them.Original Review: Worked great for a month. Plants loved them and timer was handy. Unfortunately they started flashing and dimming on their own to the point that I didn’t feel safe leaving them on without supervision. They completely died about 2 days later. This was my second set. First set arrived and didn’t work at all. Poor quality control and no longevity.

These lights are great! Plants thrive even in long Minnesota winters. Timer is very convenient and reliable. Just purchased 2 more as my other lights of a different brand pooped out. These have outlasted other lights I've tried.The ONLY knock I have is that the adhesive tape that comes with them isn't very strong, so I've had to use other stronger tape and the zip ties

I bought this as a gift for my gardening wife who likes to grow starter plants in preparation for spring planting. Out of the box, these work as advertised. The different modes and timer allow her to adjust based on plant's needs. It's been a couple of months and these have worked great!. This makes prepping for gardening a lot easier and this make me happy as I think about the fresh vegetables I'm going to enjoy this upcoming year along with a happy wife. Win-win!

The likes work really well. I have had them almost a 1.5 yr and they started to not work. I contacted customer service and they replaced them. They actually stood with their warranty which is great.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased these specifically for my indoor greenhouse that I lovingly call the “plant rehab.” They come with everything you need for mounting (double sided tape, metal brackets for hard mounting, and zip ties). They’re easy to assemble in whatever setup you need and come with longer extension pieces to span longer distances. I set the timer to go for 12 hours and “set it and forget it,” but there are options for shorter periods of time. Every plant that I put in there bounces right back from the trauma I put it through elsewhere lol. I’ve had luck with a lot of my propagations as well while using these. HIGHLY recommend.Also, had a wonderful experience with the seller and their customer support. I had an issue after the expected warranty period and they kindly replaced the set for me. Will definitely be exploring more of their products.

UPDATESeller: 5 stars. They have noticed my review and refunded for the broken item.Seems like I definitely had a lemon, intensity button stuck at 50% ish, since my last review. I am sure you will have better experience. Sometimes things slip through QA.ORIGINALPackaging: 5 starsFunctionality: 3 stars. On its own it is simple. Few buttons to click, on/off, timer, color, intensity. But it does not integrate at all with any smart plugs. when electricity goes out this device would reset and would not turn on, it will just stay off. So either you will turn everything manually on/off or you will buy another device. You might be ok with such an arrangement but your flowers would not be. Eventually you will forget to turn this thing on.Quality: 2 stars. Brand new and only one branch of wires would work, rendering half of lights simply dark.I am keeping it for another week while looking for another device
