My son loves to read about gardening. This book has everything to see: bugs, plants, soil. He loves getting to point out all the fruits and veggies. Simple explanations of how a garden works for toddlers

We are obsessed with the Jill McDonald books. My 2-year-old daughter chooses this one, in particular, most nights. The artwork is gorgeous and I love that there are messages written in larger fonts to get a basic message across, but if you feel like digging a little bit deeper for your older child, you can also read additional information written in smaller font. Depending on how tired I am at bedtime, I tend to read only the basic message written in large front LOL.
