Metal claws... that pretty much sums up what these are. Big metal claws that you put in your hair and scratch your scalp with it. It's not a refined kind of accessory that they appear to be. The metal is rough, painted with gold and rose gold, will probably chip with time. But these things will hold and hold and hold though. Do not put them in a child's head, it will hurt them. The "teeth" are kind of sharp and because of how good the spring is, it will definitely hurt if you close things things on any part of your body with nerves. I don't recommend but don't discourage either. Read the above and decide on your own - you're an adult.

This was truly a great buy given the durability of each clip and the quantity you receive. The clips arrived in a nice, floral, and also durable cardboard box where I am able to keep them stored. The only suggestion I have is to try and not allow the claws of the clips to touch your scalp as it my cause irritation throughout the day due to the rubbing of the skin it will cause like any other clips. Keep in mind, these clips are metal, heavier, and clench tighter than regular plastic ones.

I thought they would be good. My hair is lobg but not thick. Good for half up.

Because these clips were described as being metal, I knew they’d be sturdy. However, I did not expect them to be as well made or as sturdy as they are. I am pleased with the exceptional quality and value for my money.
