La Crosse Technology 616-41667-INT Black Atomic Projection Alarm Clock with Temperature

Bought this as a gift for my wife, as we had a similar clock prior to moving. Over time, the older clock just needed to be replaced. I searched and found this one. Read all the reviews, and decided it was worth a shot. Well, happy to report that it works almost the same as the other clock, which is a good thing. The arm swivels so that you are able to aim the ‘night’ clock at any position on the ceiling. The night clock is red and not overly bright once against the ceiling. It is easy to read, as expected. The face of the regular clock is a nice tone. It does turn off at night so you aren’t disturbed while sleeping. Comes with a power cord. The menu is easy so set up was a breeze, for time, alarms, and the night clock. Overall, worth having a new one.

I love these clocks!! They self-adjust to the correct time by receiving the world-wide short wave signal. The projection of the time on the ceiling or wall is fantastic, clear and large. I don't have to turn over to see my clock at night, I just look at the ceiling. The projection is not overly bright to keep me awake. The clocks last about 10 years or so, and this is my third one. My last clock failed because the batteries got old and leaked out causing corrosion. I definitely will buy this again if I need to replace my nightstand alarm clock. The company sells a clock with a color LED screen for more money, but I think this has everything I need at a very reasonable price. It comes with an instruction flier that is clear and easy to understand. With the instruction manual, the clock is easy to set up and use. Don't loose the instructions. It is easy to forget which buttons do what.

I really like this clock! I had never heard of a projection clock before I came across this one on Amazon. It directs the time to your ceiling so you don’t have to roll over and inconvenience yourself to look at the clock on your nightstand. You can adjust the brightness and where you want that time to show on your ceiling. You can put it directly above you or to the side. The clock also reads the outside temperature, and you can set it to show the temperature or the time or flip back-and-forth between the two. Sadly, the little white outdoor temperature gauge gave out after a couple of years. I had it hanging under a protective outdoor porch, which worked fine, but then stop working. I’m having no problems with the indoor clock, and I liked it so much. I bought one as a gift for someone who “has everything.”

Boy, I sort of like following the weather and checking it out. Around 2 to 3 years ago I purchased another foreign brand that looked good, but after setting it up the Interior temperature was off three degrees. I checked the thermostat and even had regular thermometers check the temperature, and they both verified the unit was indeed three degrees off. I contacted the company and they stated three degrees off is acceptable!.. I stated not in America and he would not back down. I was really upset by it. I just purchased this brand "La Crosse" and what a well designed and accurate unit they have made. Both in and out temperatures are right on, and with the addition of an Atomic Clock it put together a great system. The size, ease of setup, and overall design was thought out with an attitude of understanding a customers needs and desires. I recommend this unit completely!

Sharp clear projection. Thermometers are fairly accurate. Easy to set up.

Followed the instructions exactly but after waiting two days the unit still was not picking up the atomic clock. Also, the unit is on my bedside table facing me so that I can see it when I am on my side, but that results in the projection on the ceiling being at an angle and cannot be rotated enough so that it is straight when I am on my back. Went to the instructions using the QR code but that was just a lengthy manual that you had to scroll through and not interactive. Called the help line and was told: 1. Atomic clock: "It can take up to five days of searching to sync with the atomic clock. This is stated in the manual." When I asked where that was stated on the included instructions, I was told that I would have to go to the website and it would be there. 2. Projection angle: "You will have to rotate the unit if you want the projection to be straight when lying on your back." That means that I would not be able to see the clock face when lying on my side or in the morning when the projection is not visible. My previous Lacrosse weather station did not have either of these problems but it died after several years. Made in China.

Bought this to replace a similar La Crosse clock whose "set" button finally failed after ~ 13 years! This iteration is all its predecessor was, and more. Extremely easy to set up, customizable features, adjustable brightness, and very very easy to read projection. A new version of a great product is surely A win.

The projected time and temperature is plenty bright enough, even when not set to the brightest setting. It has several adjustment levels. The outdoor temperature sensor is working as it should. I tried to mount it about 50 feet from the house in the shade (so the Sun won't affect it), but the signal apparently won't travel that far. When it loses sensor signal, both the indoor and outdoor temperature readings are about the same. I don't need an alarm clock. The clock is accurate. Changed from MDT to MST without intervention. I like.

There is no power going from my socket to the clock. Anyone else has the same problem?

Works as described. Nice bright projection on ceiling. Low is nice and easy to see on ceiling without being too bright. LOVE that it shows alarm icon on ceiling projection. No more guessing if alarm is on.

Incorrectly sold into the Australian market as it is 120vac with an American plug point. Will not work and LaCrosse customer service poor, with no acknowledgement or apology $#$@#$% !
