I really thought the Texture, Quality, and Taste were great.. Kinda what you would expect with freeze dried.. No sugar added.. and was perfectly sweet enough for me.. the taste of the pineapple came through!. I only wished I had more.. lol I will be buying Again..

I ordered these to take as snacks while hiking a portion of the PCT. They are soooo good! The packages are quite large though so if you’re planning to take them for camping or hiking you’re best to open them all up and place them in a large ziplock bag. The individual bags they come in are good for day trips or lunches.

Compare to all the freeze dried I've tried over the years from store bought and locally made, this one seems more chewy than others meaning either it's close to expiry or production problem. If it's production problem, that means they let the freeze dried item to sit out too long before it being packaged. Allowing more air or possibly moisture to absorb back into the pineapple pieces, causing the freeze dried fruit to be more chewy and slightly stick to each other inside the package.
