Grusin is great!

Don Grusin, brother to Dave Grusin, is a great keyboardist in his own right and this disc is one of his best! Unavailable on ITunes because, in their opinion, it didn't sell enough to be worthy of carrying. Outback Oasis is the best cut here. Enjoy!D. Saunders

A stellar recording. People apparently slept on this album for sone dumb reason. Stepping out of the shadow-large as it is-of his big brother Dave, Don assembles a great, tight rhythm section and executes some very tasty tracks of various styles. My favorite is "ORACLE". I like Don's style of playing. A bit more purcussive a player than Dave, but very melodic. Don also uses a battery of acoustic and elctronics keys. This is a great introduction to Don Gusin as a stand alone artist. Superior to "Zephyer". WEhich was al;so quite good, I just like the tunes here better.

Dave Grusin gives us in this beautiful recording its excellent talent in the composition and improvisation of fresh, energetic tunes and big rhythm. Excellent recording quality and to say the good solos that he and his excellent guests give us: Eric Marienthal, Sal Marquez, Djavan, among others. Magnific sound.

I HAD HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS CD HAVING HEARD GRUSIN BEFORE, BUT THIS CD WAS SO BLAND.

Il fratello di Dave, stranamente le sue incisioni sono sempre spettacolari, lo cercherò in vinile per stupire l'ascolto dei miei amici.
