Style Arc Sewing Pattern - Margaret Stretch Woven Pant (Sizes 04-16)

Love this pattern- well drafted, fit me perfectly without alterations, super quick and simple to sew. Works well with either a very stretchy woven or a stable knit. I've made a few pairs in thick, bottom-weight ponte that are in regular rotation in my work wardrobe- the style is very simple and can be dressed up or down easily. They are definitely "secret pajamas"- they look classy but they're so comfortable I could wear them to bed. As with all Style Arc patterns, the instructions aren't that great but the design is simple enough that even relative beginners should be fine. Overall I would highly recommend.

Very nice neatly folded paper pattern

The pattern is excellent. Traced out the size I needed in order to save the hard copy. The fit is almost perfect. Very simple and easy pants to make. Now I remember why I don't buy paper patterns. Style Arc Sewing Patterns are very unique. Their website has many paper and pdf patterns without run-of-the-mill designs.

Always lo b e these patterns

These pants make me look ten pounds thinner. I did alter them to fit, but the multi sized pattern really helps with that.

Bought because I had heard the fit was so good. Not for me. Dislike 3/8" SA. I drew pattern onto tissueand then added to SA so if I had to let out there would be something for me to work with. Also, veryfew instructions and I had to go to a pattern from another co. to figure out how to apply the elastic towaist. For $ paid, I expect more.

I love the simplicity of your styles -- they allow me to use the pattern as a starting point for what I want to sew. The printed pattern comes with easy to see different colors for each size. That is very nice. I have taken away one star because I wish the seam allowance was 5/8". Perhaps 3/8" is the standard in Australia? I think that giving the larger seam allowance allows for a bit more leeway in minor alterations and also allows for a nicer finish on the seams. In certain situations the allowance can always be trimmed down, but without the bother of tracing a wider seam allowance, you can't have that more generous option.

Just not a good fit for my shape - I am more columnar and short waisted and this pant, even after adjustments, seems that it will do better on a more pear shaped, longer waisted woman.
