Great Basketball!!!
The media could not be loaded. If you're looking for a durable, high-quality basketball for outdoor practice, the Wilson NBA Forge Size 7 is an excellent choice. My son absolutely loves using it for his outdoor training sessions. The grip is fantastic, even when playing on rough surfaces like asphalt or concrete, and the ball holds up really well against the elements. It's got a solid feel to it and bounces consistently, making it perfect for both shooting drills and ball handling. What really stands out is how comfortable it is to play with—it's got a great balance between firmness and cushioning. Whether he's practicing his jump shots or dribbling through cones, this ball offers the performance you'd expect from a top-tier Wilson product. Definitely recommend it for any young player looking to step up their game!

Expectations Permanently Raised
I am not a basketball junkie. I played maybe two or three seasons of rec basketball in my pre-teen years and sucked at it. But as I got older, just shooting around on the driveway became an easy way to get exercise and some cardio in. Up until I got this ball, I've only ever played with cheap $5 balls you'd get from a Five Below or something similar. They are lumpy, don't bounce consistently, and don't have the greatest grip. But I didn't know any better, so they worked just fine for me.Recently, I had some extra money lying around and decided to give this ball a shot to see if a much more expensive ball would be different from the balls I was used to. Spoiler alert: it is. Of course, I expected an expensive ball to be better than a cheap ball, but the quality difference between the two types of balls was far beyond my expectations. This Wilson NBA Forge basketball looks better, bounces better, and feels better. However, the thing that stands out to me the most is how easy this ball is to shoot. Compared to cheap balls, this ball actually goes where you expect it to go. This makes for consistent shooting and allows you to practice shooting and actually get better at it. Again, since I don't actually play basketball, I can't say much about how the ball handles (although it does feel great in my hand), but from a casual shoot-around perspective, it has been night and day. My expectations for what a basketball should be have been permanently raised and I will never be going back to a cheap ball ever again.I will note that my ball has been scratched up some by branches near my driveway (see picture). This obviously wouldn't be a problem if playing on an outdoor court or in a place without trees/shrubbery, and even with the scratches, I haven't felt much of a difference at all with how it handles, the ball is still fantastic.

Just Like Riding a Bike Again
I recently retired from a long career in education where I spent all my time and energy within the confines of school buildings and under tons of artificial florescent lighting. Remembering way back when to my high school and college days when I could run and jump and play ball for hours on end, I decided I’d get out of my post retirement honeymoon funk, and go outside and start playing and living life again! First, I dusted off and fixed up my bike and started riding in the great outdoors (albeit our crazy neighborhood), breezing through real fresh air and the awakening morning sun (and sometimes blazing hot late summer morning sun, too). And as I was getting a low impact, full-body workout, the sunlight began its good work by penetrating and reviving my institutionally exhausted cells all over again. Shortly thereafter, I discovered a new park that had a decent full-sized basketball court…and it got me thinking…if I can still ride a bike, maybe I can still shoot a basketball.Moving ahead…after many biking adventures and wonderful solo basketball sessions on the outdoor court in the fresh morning air and sun, I’d say that this ball is an excellent choice, and it delivers! It’s not a cheap rubber playground ball that bounces in all sorts of unwanted directions, and it’s not an expensive leather ball that could get ruined on a paved surface. It’s holding its ground, bounces and responds like an indoor ball, and it’s not getting all scuffed up even after it travels through the dirt around the court (yeah, I miss a bunch of shots, too). It’s an excellent ball for my purposes, and watching it swish through the hoop, it’s just like riding a bicycle again - you never forget! So, get one of these basketballs, turn off the iPad and TV, and like my mother always said, “Go outside and play!” At 64, I still say, “Yes, ma'am!”

Buen balón
Tiene buen agarre y se siente bien... Aunque en exteriores su desgaste es rápido. Pero para quienes buscamos economía y calidad diaria es quizá la mejor opción
