I used mine for only a week during a week long ski trip so I don't have long term use in this review but my experience was positive. No they're no comfortable and press against your ears but it's not painful and sometimes you have to sacrifice for something specific like headphones that fit in my helmet with long battery life that sound good, with good Bluetooth connectivity, that you can press the buttons with your gloves on. So if your helmet strap is tight they may start to press on your ears a little bit. When you push the buttons, obviously the speaker is going to push into your ear but that's a small price to pay. I did flip these upside down so I could charge them without removing them entirely from my helmet.No idea if the battery will last years and no idea if the cable will hold up but so far, these did what I wanted.

I previously used in-ear wrap-around headphones to listen to music when snowboarding and then tried the Outdoor Master helmet drop-in headphones. I used these in my Anon helmet and it worked really well. The controls were really easy to use and the headphone battery lasted surprisingly long. On a full charge, I've never had to re-charge it over a weekend / 2-3 days of consecutive snowboarding. I'm pretty happy with the sound - the only complaint I would have is that the auto-shut-off feature has too short of a time frame (few minutes of idle) so I find myself sometimes having to turn it back on. This usually happened when going up a lift where I stopped playing music to talk to people and by the time we get to the top it has turned off.

Initial impressions after my first use. I previously had Outdoor Tech Chips wireless helmet speakers which eventually quit working. The OutdoorMaster speakers seem pretty well-made, paired easily, and the buttons had a nice tactile 'click', so you knew if you hit them correctly with gloves on. Sound quality was decent but not exceptional, and volume was good. Better than I got with my previous speakers. The big issue for me is their auto-off power-saving feature which powers off the unit after 5 minutes of being unused. I had hoped that this feature could be deactivated, but that's not the case. I can see a use for this feature if they had awful battery life that needed to be protected at all costs, but their marketing material suggests otherwise. They seem to have been designed by kids who think that the only reason to have speakers/mic in your helmet is to listen to music. If you have a career and/or a family, you need to have them on continually in order to be able to take phone calls or be alerted to new messages on your phone, while the phone is buried deep in your ski clothes and not accessible to use with your gloves on and while on the lift. Don't know how they wouldn't have thought of that. Deciding whether to return them or not...

These are fantastic! I have been using high quality in-ear headsets for snowboarding under my helmet. Dealing with the controls with gloves is a pain. Just to mute or change the volume, I pretty much have to take off my gloves every time. Also after awhile, the ear buds tend to hurt my ears as the helmet is constantly pressing in on them. I got these and they work great. The buttons are big and easy to use even with gloves. The sound quality is fairly good. Certainly nowhere near the quality of my Bose but these work well for what I needed. Comfy in my helmet earpieces. My helmet has removable ear padding so these just slip inside where the padding was and you don't even notice they are there. Good battery charge that lasts all day.

I'm on an iPhone.Good:Music sounds great.Bass is decent for such a small, inexpensive product.Never had any problems with battery life.BAD:They don't play well with iOS. When you get an incoming text iOS refuses to announce and read the text thru these headphones. Something with the way they establish the bluetooth connection.So while they have a lot of positives having to constantly ask Siri to read my text messages is just a huge pain in the neck. I'll keep looking.These inexpensive headphones surpassed my expectations in every way except the "announce" issue.
