And most recipes go with a dinosaur, which appealed to my Dino-loving 5 year old. We have a fair amount of these franchise cookbooks, and I think this is my favorite. It’s the first one that I really feel like I’m getting into the park. I loved that the recipes are very Costa Rican - fits the location - and many are inspired by specific dinosaurs and their diets. We had a full Jurassic world family dinner tonight, and I was so happy with how tasty the recipes are! The pork & pineapple tacos and the stegosaurus corn cakes were delicious. The volcanic hummus and veggie chips were so fun! My kids had a blast and my hubby and I enjoyed the food. This is a super fun cookbook with legit recipes. (My photos are a first attempt…I was pleased with a first try but know they will only get better!)

Feels more like they grabbed some random recipes and slapped a photo of a dinosaur on them rather than a compilation of dinosaur inspired meals. A pre-made hot dog, in a pre-made bun, with some veggies chopped up as topping doesn’t exactly appeal to my love of cooking. Probably better as a book for parents to ease kids into the kitchen rather than a proper recipe book. Honestly a little disappointing :(

Pictures are lovely but the actual items in the cook book are not really dinosaur related. And definitely not suitable for children. I was quite underwhelmed with this product.
