My daughter is 8 and loves all of these. They are fabulous, educational, with amazing pictures and easy to understand facts and information. Beautifully laid out. Now got about 5 of the different subjects.

I find that these DK books can be a bit hit and miss, some are all pretty pictures but contain very little real understanding of the topic. This one is a definite hit. It is a superb resource for children. The Eye catching and detailed illustrations provide a great hook to get them interested as well has complementing the text and explaining the topic.The book covers basic topics such at cells and DNA, before covering each body system in more detail and then focusing on different parts of the body in more detail. It is quite a nice way to organise the complex topic.The large pages offer plenty scope for interesting diagrams - this is used to full effect with lots of double page illustrations. The information is well presented and of a high standard. There is no shying away from using the correct term or explaining a complex idea to the full.This is a huge topic - and even in this chunky book you can't cover everything, but there is enough in here to answer a lot of questions and prick curiosity. A great starting point for an interest in human biology.

I bought this book to help my child with learning about the body. Its a sturdy colourfull book with lots of detail but with easy to understand discriptions. I had a browse and found out things i didnt know so its a win win in this house.

Excellent quality reading material for our son, the budding scientist.

Given to my grandson for his 9th birthday, a boy fascinated for years by all things science, and how our bodies work. Beautifully presented with high quality illustrations, on high quality paper. A really informative book that he'll keep and look at for years to come. An absolute must for the library of any child with similar interests. So reasonably priced for its quality too.

This book is great, it has your basics covered and the pictures are very detailed and there are full body diagrams for different bodily functions. I strongly suggest this book.

Esta increible toda esta serie de libros de la editorial DK. Este en particular parece libro de anatomía al nivel de uno de licenciatura, pero a la vez muy apropiado para niños. Muy recomendable!

Excellent graphics, interesting to read with many chapters covering almost everything a kid would like to know about the human body.Only minus is somewhat lower quality of print compared to its hardback edition.
