Best cycling buds I have found but....
I have given these 4 stars instead of 5 because you need to buy additional triple flange tips for them to be super! The flange tips make these the best ear buds I have used for cycling and i have tried over 10 including the big names. They are secure, hear through is great and passive noise cancellations good for reduced road noise.

Not as I had hoped
Sadly, the quality wasn't what I had expected from Shure. Whether these were a faulty set I'm not sure but I had to return as they just weren't good enough for my needs.

Work well
I have been using these for a few weeks and so far I have found that they work well, I have had Shure in ear monitors for many years so I am used to the way they fit which can feel a bit strange at first, the controls work (if you can remember them). The slight criticism I have is as other reviewers have said, the case is quite large and the earphones are a bit of a fiddle to get in and out of it, the ear phone are what you would call a good fit in the case. The passive noise cancelling is good but I don't use the supplied tips, I use Shure triple flange tips with the smallest flange cut off.

Great earphones. Sounds quality is amazing. One thing to note...
Great product, love them.Note: when I got them, only one earphone would connect to my phone at a time. This is not a fault with the product, it means the adapters have not been paired.Reading online, it seems sometimes they arrive paired and sometimes they don't.To pair them, put the adapters in the charger, look on the side for the red LEDs on the adapters, hold the button on both the adapters till they go blue (about 7s), then release the button and let the lights flash till they both go red again. They are now connected.Took me a while to find this info. And a lot of people online with this issue were slamming the product as broken. So hoping this comment helps others, and they can quickly get enjoying what is a great audio experience. Finally, all the classic spiel about how great the noise cancellation, sound quality, sound stage and vol control etc is.

Good but not perfect
Good but not perfect trouble knowing what’s happening with volume getting it to react but the sounds are great

Fantastic sound. Fab low Profile.
So I wear these under my open face motorbike helmet and they're fab.Always had Shure mics (SM56, BETA 58, 55SH-II) but never had headphones before. The sound is fantastic.Nice carry case. Nice different types of in ear fittings so you can tailor them to your ear.Mostly for me though, I love how low profile they are as they fit in my ear under the helmet.I think they might do Bluetooth ones too but I got the wired ones as I don't want to download another app just to get headphones working and with most Bluetooth headphones you need an app. I like the old trusty wired.Oh yeah, they have like a pluggy kinda connection at the earpiece bit so if you get snagged or anything, you'll not damage the wiress, they'll just become unplugged at the ear and you can plug them right back in again. Just another fab idea from Shure.Great.

Fabulous for gigging in noisy places
I play gigs in noisy, busy pubs and restaurants. This can be rather a challenge due to not being able to hear oneself singing. Hence, you tend to push a bit too hard, leading to voice strain and pitchy vocals. No longer a problem! These brilliant in-ear monitors have solved all that. Using an adaptor from amazon (xlr to 3.5) you can monitor out from your amplifier. Perfect! It makes a huge improvement to your performance to be able to hear your vocal and guitar crystal clear. The guitar will sound a bit tinny through the earphones but rest assured it sounds even and full out front to the crowd. I shudder to think of all the 3-hour gigs I've done without these. I'll never be without them again. Finally, they have the added advantage of rescuing one from those overzealous drunks who feel the need to get in on the act constantly all night.. "sorry bud, I can't here you with these earphones in." In summary, the sound is a bit thin live, but you expect that. Noise cancelling is very impressive 👏. I find the balance perfect for gigs in noisy pubs.
