I ordered this waffle iron after trying another brand that I didn't like at all. I found this one to be very easy to use and the batter scoop is a nice addition. I started with a 1/2 cup of batter in the scoop, as the instructions recommended, and that seemed to work well. The anti-overflow moat seemed to work as intended. I only had a little overflow into the moat using a 1/2 cup of batter per waffle. Perhaps users who had a bad experience with overflow used more than a 1/2 cup of batter? Also, the nonstick plates functioned well and were easy to clean. I sprayed them with avocado oil spray on the first two waffles I made, but tried it without spraying them for a third waffle and had no issues with sticking. I used the "2" setting of doneness, which seemed to cook them nicely. I might experiment with other settings but 2 was suitable. I switched to this waffle iron after a disastrous experience with another brand (that is one of the top search results on Amazon), where the waffle stuck very badly, and it was a nightmare to clean after a significant amount of overflow. I like this iron much better and had a dramatically better experience using it than the first iron I bought. I recommend this one!

Our family of 3 loves a nice breakfast on the weekends. We had a previous waffle maker from Walmart, but the mess alone was reason enough not to use it. (sticky cooking spray, overflow, clean up) I really wanted a waffle maker that was good and made clean up a breeze. Well...I found it!!! First of all, read the little direction booklet: Turn it on, blue light means it's ready for mix, blue light again when waffle is cooked. Easy day!! Maker comes with a scoop cup that HOOKS ONTO YOUR MIXING BOWL!!! Say whaaat?! I bought the tongs Amazon suggested, and it was worth it. (Spatula on one side, curved fork-style on the other) They aren't too big, but take a little strength to close. But I can tell they're quality. It suggested a light brush of oil, if needed. I've done it, or not, and had good results either way. Oh, and it locks closed and stands up on its end for storage AND has a spot underneath to coil the cord. I paid $35 for something I've used twice in a little over a month. It's already paying for itself. Wise purchase!!!

La uso para mi negocio, estamos en mayo 2022 y la llevo usando desde diciembre 2021. Calienta súper rápido y muy bien, parejo. Al principio fue difícil encontrar la medida exacta de masa para evitar derrames, pero luego encontré el modo y ya no se derrama nada. Con mi receta basta con cubrir totalmente la base para que quede perfectamente bien cubierto todo el molde pero no derrame. Tienes que experimentar un poco para saber qué cantidad, ya que depende mucho del tipo de masa que uses y lo espesa que esté. Otro tip, al principio no confiaba en la luz azul, así que revisaba el waffle cada cierto tiempo, pero luego vi que no es necesario, se enciende cuando está a la temperatura ideal, se apaga cuando echas la masa y cierras, cuando vuelve a encender el foco azul está completamente cocido al nivel de tostado que elijas, sin necesidad de estar revisando. Leí que a muchos se les ha quebrado por el “abrir y cerrar”, pero a mí me ha funcionado bien, por si las dudas he tenido el debido cuidado al manipularla para evitar que se dañe, ya que ciertamente se siente un poco flojo, no está muy ajustado, afortunadamente sigue en buenas condiciones. Es fácil de limpiar y no necesita grasa (mantequilla o aceite), no se le pega nada y es fácil quitar los residuos cuando está totalmente fría con un trapo limpio y húmedo, no es necesario lavar. Sin duda la volvería a comprar.

This waffle maker cooks waffles to perfection. And the waffles are so big. The anti-overflow works amazing. I don’t know what other people are talking about that said it didn’t. Maybe they have an older model. But mine works great. All it is, is an extended cooking surface so any batter that goes outside of the waffle grooves just gets cooked rather than making a mess. I liked it having a bit of an extra edge from the anti-overflow surface, it made it easier to get the waffle out. And if you’re worried about presentation you can easily cut or pull the edges off for a cleaner look. It’s fool proof. It tells you when to put the batter in and when the waffle is done. It has multiple level setting based on how browned you want your waffle. I cooked mine on level 3 (medium) for reference. It’s compact and light. It’s easy to clean, I just wiped it down with a cloth, nothing sticks to it. It was so easy to use my 5 year old was making waffles with my supervision.

I wish I would have found this way before now. Compact and easy to use, this is a great kitchen gadget. The adjustable knob for crispiness is a nice touch. The device doesn't take long to warm, and from there it runs like a champ. A measuring cup is provided, though eyeballing the amount worked best for me. The nonstick surface allows for a quick easy clean-up. If you enjoy a good waffle, this is the one for you.
