Northern Pine

It has been a long time since I reviewed anything on here after nearly 800 reviews. I don't change soap or body wash a lot. I have tried Dr. Squatch and like it. I have tried the Mountain Ocean coconut soap and really liked it. I thought I would try something different. I was mainly looking at the scent. Anymore, I don't feel like most soaps or body washes get me that clean. I work outside most of the time. I have to get creative with the cleansing routine and usually use a non-scented antibacterial body wash or bar to get me clean. I then use one that smells good. I felt the cleanliness and moisturizing with the soap was similar to others I have used. I do recommend that Dove antibacterial body wash for extra dirty days. Then you can use one of these really nice smelling soaps. People, especially men, too often don't realize the bacteria on you is what causes the bad smells. If you don't get rid of the bacteria, you're just masking the filth on you. I always go for the aquatic or bluer scents. This one surprised me a lot. It is the Coral Reef scent. Years ago, I worked for Creed Boutique, I have a very strong olfactory (smell) sense. The scent this reminded me of was Creed Aventus in the older formulations of Aventus. That's a big compliment. Aventus soap is about forty to fifty dollars a bar. It doesn't have the longevity of Aventus soap or cologne. But for under ten dollars, this is a very good scent if you like the more sophisticated, but fresh scent. I really like this scent. It even has decent projection. I smelled it when I opened the shipping box. As a soap, I would give around a 4 star. As a scent it's a 5 star for me. It does have good exfoliating feel without being too rough. I always thought that was the best way to review soaps and body wash. Try to give you an idea of what it's going to smell like. Soap is soap. It lathers. It washes off. It scrubs you. That scent will put it on a regular rotation for me. I will buy more of this scent.

I was ordering some soap recently and this Northern Pine showed up as a recommendation. I took a chance and ordered a bar, not expecting to like it as much as I did. Frankly I was blown away. I liked it so much I had to leave a review for this soap. First of all it smells great. Nice fresh pine scent, not the usual pine tar. Not overpowering though. Moisturizing, but not too much. Good Quality soap. All natural ingredients. Made in USA. What's not to like? This will be in my regular rotation from now on.

I tried the Swanky Badger Northern Pine All Natural Soap and overall, I’m really impressed. The scent is fresh and outdoorsy — the pine fragrance is clean without being overpowering, and it lingers nicely after a shower. It’s also really gentle on the skin, leaving me feeling clean with out any dryness or irritation, which is a huge plus.

I love eucalyptus, but almost all soaps that have eucalyptus on the label. You can barely smell the eucalyptus. This one is different. This one is amazing. Smells wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Ok, the Northern Pine scent isn't all Comet (bathroom cleaner) it also has a broad mixture of other background scents ranging mostly in the pungent range. Not really Pine at all. I picked up a specific scent that fondly reminded me of the perfume my grandmother used. The scent did last all day! I couldn't get away from it! Maybe used as a hand soap for occasional use is best. Both my wife and I agreed it was WAY too strong for showering with and not necessarily a manly scent. On the good side. It cleaned well and skin felt nice. Not much lather, but that's OK. Buyer beware, if you want a super strong scented soap and you are fond of yesteryear's mix of bathroom cleaner and my Grandmother's perfume, GET SOME!

If you have ever hung out with a swanky badger you know. This scent is spot on! Also, if you ARE hanging out with badger, you should re-evaluate your friend group. Weird

I got this for my husband and he really like it. Small really Good.

It's a experience, exhilarating,it leaves you recharged, energized.Will purchase again. Lathers well and doesn't leave your skin dry.
