Excellent adhesion, very strong retention
I bought this tape to attach one of those truck tailgate carpets. The carpet (BedRug brand) came with tiny pre-cut pieces of Velcro tape that barely adhered to the bedliner material on my truck tailgate. They were specifically provided for this purpose yet fell off with little effort. This Velcro branded outdoor tape supposedly will support 15 lbs, and it adhered strongly to the bedliner on my truck. It’s not the most inexpensive product at $20 for 20’ feet, but it performs better than advertised and for my needs was worth every penny. Easy recommendation.

Not made to stick to Fabric
I gave this five stars even though it's not anywhere close to receiving five stars. I want people to see my review and the only way to do that on Amazon, Is it give it five stars so it shows in the first set of reviews. I can tell you that this adhesive is not extreme outdoor and does not stick well to fabric. I have a nylon sunshade, and I attempted to put Velcro on it in order to build a sidewall to protect us from the wind and rain. However, a in a matter of 20 minutes, the Velcro that I first initially put on was falling off. When it got cold yesterday evening and last night, I came home today from work to find the entire strip that I had connected to the nylon fabric had completely fallen off and was laying on my balcony. I want you to know that this is not meant for outdoor you like it states it does in their description. I could see this holding 15 pounds if it was indoors and stuck to a wall or wood. However, again, this will not work for fabric, like stated in the description . If you were planning on trying to do the same thing as what I did and attached this Velcro with an extreme adhesive for outdoor use. . If you were planning on trying to do the same thing as what I did and attached this Velcro with a supposed extreme adhesive for outdoor use, I would definitely try to find a different product to use because I legitimately wasted about $20 on this product.

Krypton Strong Velcro
A little bit more expensive, but I got tired of my motion lights in the closet falling down. I bought this stuff, and it works like nothing else, stuff must be made on Krypton because it does exactly what it says it does, and more. Buy the name brand of Velcro, save yourself a bunch of hassle. Highly Recommend! Thank you!

Good adhesion to smooth surfaces.
Very sticky adhesive although it did not like sticking to nylon fabric at all.

works as expected.
Got this to fix some deteriorated self stick velcro that came loose on my pop up camper. So far so good, still holding.

Super Sticky
Super sticky, holds together extremely well. I'm using it on my garage door, so we'll see how it handles the AZ heat.

Very few trusted uses
This “extreme” velcro is really a fail. I went with Velcro brand as it seems to get the best reviews. Sadly, I have not found a trusted use for it yet. I used it to hang a lightweight one battery clock on the wall, it fell to the ground one day later, the adhesive to the plastic clock fell off. This is the story everywhere I try to use it. Mounted a LED light remote in my shed, it was laying on the ground 2 days later, adhesive fail.If use is subject to outside temperatures, forget it, the adhesive is just no good.I have had mixed results with the hook & loop also, unreliable and mostly week, I try using huge pieces to get some strength from it. I also sewed it in place for one use, finding that after roughly 10 - 15 pull and remove cycles, the velcro hook and loop was worthless. I tried gluing in place also, hook and loop gets weak after very few cycles.I think the “heavy duty” moniker is a fail. I have many clothing items with cheap velcro fastenings and they all seem to last years.I have not thrown away the huge roll just yet but I am very close to doing just that. I can’t even remember a place I have used it, where it’s still functioning.Poor adhesive and week loop fastening. I used it for a wifi router on the wall, fell to ground within a few days, adhesive fail.Yes, I alcohol wipe clean area for adhesive before using it.At this point I have nowhere left to try it. Seems adhesives are getting worse each year. I bought Gorilla double stick tape that can’t be trusted either.I will not be buying Velcro again, seems adhesive products as a whole, stored in hot warehouses, delivered in frozen trucks or 120 degree semi trucks, degrade quickly. I cannot get the product to stick well to anything, 90% of the roll left, I cannot trust it.
