Tried a wireless connection between printer and PC, but it was inconsistent, even though they were right next to each other. Switched to a direct cable, and it works like a champ. Speed is fine, and cable is durable.

Poor quality
I bought this to use in my classroom. It has worked for 6 months but has loose from the beginning. It has been hit and miss to work correctly. I had to finally break down and order another on from another company when this chord totally stopped working altogether. I don't recommend this chord at all/
