Comfort Handle - Razor Edge Scissors Item# 732

When I purchase a new, name brand product I expect to receive an unused, undamaged version of that very product. In this case the package I received from Bristow & Ball (North Las Vegas, NV) had been previously opened, used then taped up. The scissors do not have the quality, fit and finish normally associated with Famore, and they are dirty, bent and out of alignment. Please see my photos - they clearly show the unacceptable quality such as unfinished plastic, painful seams from molding, and tweaked alignment.

I bought a pair of these a few years ago and loved them so much I wanted two more (one pair to keep beside each sewing machine/serger/coverhem). Unfortunately the quality of the product has decreased. The new ones are lighter and have some sharp edges around the handle area (from the molding process). They still work, but its obvious that cost-cutting measures have been taken in the last few years.

I’ve had these scissors for a few months. While they are comfortable to use they do not work worth a darn. They become loose and won’t cut. I tighten them and they won’t cut. I purchased them yo use with sewing and they will not cut fabric. Just chew it up and leave a mess. They do cut paper. I saw them recommended on a blog for sewing and figured they would be good. I was wrong. . I am so disappointed in these scissors.

This is my second pair to replace the first pair that was lost. The second pair seems to have a catch in it and does not cut as easily and smoothly as the first pair of the exact style and brand scissors. When these work they are a wonder for people w hand arthritis,

Love these scissors. Really sharp right to the tip, comfortable in my hand, and Economical as well. I ordered 2, one next to my sewing machine, and one at my cutting table. Great find!

If you grab your snipping scissors a hundred times in one project, you need these! Most tiny scissors have tiny finger grips, these slide right on and off. Super sharp, great for clipping curves in sewing, or trimming off loose thread ends.
