Excellent set up, with a carrying case!
Bought this for my husband for when he’s in the woods or on fishing trips. We never expected to love it so much that we decided to keep it & use it every morning in our home!

The coating inside the kettle peeled and bubbled.
Adorable gift. But the kettle peeled inside on one use. I'd love a replacement but it was a gift. Very nice set for 1 if the kettle didn't have a coating.

Coffee Lovers need to buy this kit
This V-60 Pour Over set is awesome. Easy to use and the best thing about this is you can take it anywhere. When visiting family, friends, camping, or just on the go this is a must for any coffee lover!! I carry this on flights when traveling. All a person needs is their favorite beans....

Low quality. Terrible bag.
I'm a coffee guy. I restore vintage lever machines and I roast my own beans. I've got various travel kits I put together depending on how I'm travelling and who is participating. This kit appears to be nice but is so lacking that I cannot recommend it to anyone. It makes a nifty first impression for someone that will never use it so it has gift potential. Otherwise it's mostly a miss. There's only one glass. This set is "best for two to four persons". I guess you have to share the single glass. -1 star. The bag is too big for what's inside. The handle is removed from the grinder and packed in a slot. Is it that fragile? The most fragile thing is the glass and that's packed about 1/2" from the center bottom of the case, right where it will impact the ground when the case is dropped. I need space for my coffee beans and scoop. There's a hole with nothing in it. There's a spot for a handle on the V60 that isn't there. The kettle only sort of fits. The foam is a thin water resistant plastic that I've seen in packing material. It's nothing like the foam used in Pelican cases to protect anything. -1 star. The grinder is a basic Hario clone that has decent ceramic conical burrs. It cronks out sandy size grind slowly but well enough. It's really nice hand grinding coffee as part of the process. The V60 is a single cup size. Matches up with the single cup to drink from but drips into a ceramic pot.The scale is the typical pain in the hootch timer scale I've reviewed before. It works well enough once you get used to it and don't deviate. For the most part it's an exercise in frustration that doesn't mesh well with a coffee ritual. It's also nearly impossible to get the thing back in the case. The rubber mat holds on for dear life when you try to insert it.I don't like the ceramic V60. I find it small and hard to keep warm. I'm a little jaded since I prefer a clear pot so I can gauge the coffee tint. Seeing the coffee slowly build makes the anticipation of that first sip even better. Black ceramic? Meh. The ceramic pot really needs to be pre-heated with about half the available water. My other travel kits have V60s that pour directly into the drinking vessel. One less thing to preheat and one less thing to store. -1 star. The kettle is fine. I like the angle and action from the spout. It's comfortable to use and while the gauge is a bit busy, I could use this kettle every day and be happy. The bag has one strap that is sewn under the zipper. There's no other support for this one strap so the whole bag sags woefully to one side. I doubt this strap will hold on for long with any amount of travel use. Until I held the bag by the strap I thought it was decent. Once I saw the strap I know it's -1 star. When I look for a travel item I typically look for something that is sturdy. There is nothing in this kit that deviates from the average kitchen gadget in terms of sturdiness. The case is supposed to make up for that I guess. It doesn't.
