This labeler, as with any Brother handheld labeler is in high demand and well worth the price. It is the same price as in Office Depot in Texas. Adequate for home network punch down port labeling. Wall plate labeling. Network cable labeling. Office folders, bins and coffee cups. TONS of uses. Needs lots of batteries. 6 x 'AAA' batteries. only come with 1 partial label tape. Luckily, refill tapes are inexpensive.

Handy for a variety of labeling jobs
I purchased this to label nail swatches with the colors used, but I've been finding it useful for adding labels to other items as well. I like that it can accommodate different sizes/color of labeling tape and that it can be used with batteries or an A/C adapter (purchased separately). It comes with a sample cartridge (12mm). Pros: Good selection of tape sizes/colors available ; has several options for fonts and frames; runs on batteries or A/C adapater; produces sharp, clear text. Cons: On the heavy side for its size; buttons need a fair amount of pressure; wastes tape on both ends when printing; battery compartment cover is a little hard to remove. I find that if I'm printing several labels at once, it's less wasteful to just put a couple of spaces between the text and run them as a single print job and then cut them myself. Overall, it's a useful gadget and works well for the purpose.

Love ours. We use ours all the time!
You never know how much you need a label maker until you have one. I awarded myself with one and I have been loving it! It prints out great, no glitches, and it's super easy to use all the different fonts, sizes, symbols. I also like how the keyboard feels!

Where has this been all my life?
I tend to be quite neat and organized in all ways that I can. With this label printer, now everything has a label! I mostly use this to label part containers, tools etc in the garage. The limits are endless with organization with this handy label maker. It is easy to operate and adjust settings. I suggest buying the adapter to plug into an outlet because it will burn through batteries.
