Excellent visual resources for all ages!
I have to say when this arrived it all looked rather confusing and overwhelming. As a parent of a 6 and 11 year old who, like many others struggled with home schooling during lockdown really wish I’d known of this set sooner. This set says it’s for 11-13 year olds but what’s included will really help when I’m trying to explain to my 6 year old about fractions and shapes and even simple addition and subtraction. My daughter is enjoying making shapes with the pegboard whilst my older daughter will find this useful for graphing -and coordinates. The algebra tiles and counters are perfect for showing fractions, addition, subtraction. Multiplication and division, even patterns, as is the ‘build a grid’ set.I find some of the included instructions a little hard to follow but I will certainly be using these as a visual aid to help both my children with their maths.I’d recommend!

Perfect toy to make maths more accessible and intuitive.
Excellent way to help school children understand things related to maths in a more visual way. At school more often than not, a lot of maths concepts are very abstract and it can be tough to understand. This kit has all sorts of bits and bobs that will help children put their knowledge into practise and get a new perspective. It will help make maths more accessible, visual and intuitive which will help children learn things more easily.Quite overwhemling when you first get everything out but once you go through each element, it becomes clear in its use. An overall well made product. Recommended.

Great learning resource with a bit of fun thrown in
This maths set is an ideal resource for supporting maths. It’s targeted at age 11-13 children as an extra learning resource for outside of school using various bits and pieces. When you first open the package it is a little overwhelming as it really doesn’t relate at all to how I was taught maths at school. The activity guide is pretty clear although you do need to put a bit of thought in. My son was struggling with the concept of co-ordinates and this really helped him to visualize it in a slightly different way. He also really enjoys doing multiplication and division and having another way to work through things has helped him improve.Good for any child that wants to improve their maths

MAKES LEARNING FUN
This kit says its suitable for 11-13, though I think its suitable from around the age of 7 to teach them the concept. The visualisation does really help make it easier to learn. I have found explaining fractions to them a lot easier. It is well made and well thought of and would recommend this as a learning aid whilst keeping it fun.
