I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. The top half is separate from the bottom and the two can be stacked, as shown in the photo. There is lots of room for all types of makeup and brushes. This is a high quality item for a very reasonable price. I love it and know my daughter will, too!

It's true that the sections are a bit small but I actually prefer this organizer for that reason. It's really nice and keeps all of my items out of the way. The drawers can only hold one (maybe two if they're really slim) palettes at a time but that just keeps everything out of the way and gives everything it's own specific place in this organizer.

I really like this... However, it is slightly smaller than I would have preferred. But the quality is fantastic! I wish the shelves had a tad more height but either way, it holds most of my loose items. I would recommend this for anyone who has lots of lip colors or eye liners as this organizes them nicely.

I had two makeup bags STUFFED full of makeup, and let me tell ya if your hesitating on this DON'T. It's the bees knees. My makeup is pretty and in place and I can find things easy! I think this is a pretty sturdy cosmetic storage unit, made with thick acrylic. The drawers slide with ease and the rubber mesh inside is great for keeping eye shadow/blush/powder from slipping around, but the mesh itself slips a bit within the drawer. It's pretty thin, so that might be the reason. Getting some non-slip rubber that goes under carpeting (that's not too thick) would probably solve that issue.The top part, which sits on top of the drawers, isn't secure enough. I like the fact that it's removable, but I think the edge that keeps it in place should be a bit higher; it's just not enough of an edge to stabilize the top part. Especially if the unit is being moved ~ I take mine from my linen closet in the bathroom and put it on my vanity every morning, then put it back in the closet (I have minimal vanity space). If this is kept in one place, it probably won't be much of an issue. So the top part. Not a fan. The sections that are supposed to hold any type of "lip" tubes, just doesn't work for me. I don't wear lipstick, I wear lip gloss that comes in a either a tube that you squeeze, or a tube with a brush. I also use lip balm. The lip balm tubes fit fine, but I only have two. It's the gloss that is the problem. The ones that DO fit, seem to tip, like they're too tall for the compartment. I don't feel that any of my tubes are out of the ordinary thick, but I guess they are. Bottom line about those compartments, is that they are basically useless to me. The back compartments, where I would think brushes are kept, is again, on the short side. The brushes tip to the point that they fall out pretty easily.Overall, I'm not too impressed, but it has some functionality.

Exactly as described! Stack or separate! I put the bottom section in the bathroom (for small items I use there) and I put the top section on my desk in my bedroom. It is well made. Would work well for jewelry you wear all the time (by the bedside).

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this case it can hold some makeup as long as you don't stuff the drawers if you do you'll knock them off kilter and then they wont close or open properly. But its cute its compact and it can hold something's ...I defiantly will buy another one. The top piece that holds brushes and lip sticks or liners or both depending on what you have, it just doesn't sits there ..it has a snug little slot (compartment) that holds it into place which I though was awesome...im easily impressed

I love it !!! This is the key, for keeping your makeup organized. My makeup was everywhere... the organizer isn't too big nor small, and the compartments are just the perfect size. This is really amazing and easy to store, doesn't take up too much space. For the price it's worth it!
